Yep, the Hack started in Portland and it worked... problem was, the Balzers were already down 20 points before they initiated the process and it was simply too late. Then Shaq was like 15-20 the next game at the line (something silly like that, anyway).

Blazers ran into some bad luck going up-against two dynasty's in Detroit and LA. They were certainly good enough to win one or two championships back then. The 1990 / 1991 team was great... the 1991 / 1992 team was even better. Being a small town, ya'll would not have believed the hype for the Blazers around here. It was actually quite awesome.
