I still cannot believe whoever it was (most likely roniaha) decided it would be a good idea to send out a tweet just 2 hours ago, on the day this is all coming out, AS THE FAKE PERSON. AS KEKUA.

If that doesn't scream attention whore, I don't know what does. He's got brass ones, that's for sure.

People make fake twitter accounts all the time though, it is a pretty common thing. And it is easy to delete.

IMO this was just media sensationalism that snowballed out of control. I think he did believe this girl was real, and they did talk. But before ESPN made the story explode the girl was just a friend. That's how Te'o and NBC put it early in the year. She wan't his girlfriend, but a friend that happened to be a girl. Then suddenly they started saying girlfriend, which I assumed was just the media sensationalizing it, and didn't put much more thought into it, til now.

Regardless of whether Te'o was in on the hoax, he has proven himself to be a liar, a fraud and an attention whore. As a hater, I was looking for someone new to hate on in the NFL since Stabby is retiring.

My new theory (which is just as plausible as all the other bull being tossed around) is that some Bama fan started this hoax three years ago knowing they would face the Irish in the MNC this year. They planned all along to reveal the story prior to the bowl game to fuck with Te'o's head.

I'm hearing BamaBear has something to do with it. :suspicious:

He said he informed Notre Dame on December 26th that he was the victim of this hoax. Then, on January 3rd, he talks about "her" again.

BUSTED.

And Notre Dame is trying to help cover this up.

It's going to be interesting to see how this affects his draft stock.

He was never some physical beast with top end skills. He's no Patrick Willis. He's a good player with mid level talent that has a good motor and good leadership ability.

His complicity in this takes the shine off him quite a bit. I think he's still a mid first rounder though.

His story just isn't holding up to scrutiny. Now Stanford players are tweeting that if she existed and was injured in a car wreck, Teo never asked any of them if they knew her, or anything about her. If you meet a girl from another school, don't you ask the people you know there what they know about her?

There are just waaaaaay too many holes in this. The other shoe that drops is going to be massive......like clown massive.
