True but to be honest, the Giants shouldn't have even given the refs a reason to call that. The Eagles wouldn't have gotten a play off and the Giants player fucked around with the ball.

Expect another massive snap rate and workload for Christian McCaffrey after Jordan Mason saw a combined 19 offensive snaps during the previous two games in which Elijah Mitchell was out with injury. Jauan Jennings’ absence should create additional opportunities for Ronnie Bell and Chris Conley, although neither is expected to see more than a handful of offensive snaps in an offense dominated by McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk, and George Kittle.
