I am working on being more direct and saying my peace in a respectful way.

I have already recommended that Chiller be flogged in public. He is a menace!

If PDay keeps teasing me, I want to see him do pushups while he is sprayed with a hose just like in "An Officer and a Gentlemen".

I am pretty sure it was PDay who egged and toilet-papered my house the other day. Kids these days!!!!!!!!!!!
This is a better board with you on ... now if we can get shark back full time.

2022, Luke Goedeke, 10 places after Mathis, could be our LG.

2023, JMS was taken 10 places after Martin, could be our center and Dad and I pounded the perverbiable table for him as long as we could.

Torrence, taken 12 places after Martin, dominated our highly coveted Dline.

Yeah…taking those overdrafted DL makes a lot of sense. RR should be fired for that alone.

Kind words sportster. Thank you.

Agreed 100% on shark.

Skinsdad should run a promotion. Every poster who returns to a full time poster status gets a free Commanders t-shirt signed by dan Snyder!

We would get everybody bac....

Wait a second, maybe another gift would be better??????

I am not saying the season is over or anything like that, but I am looking forward to your 2024 mock draft this year!

i agree he didn't draft oline when he should have. If you go back to the 2022 draft trade down if those players work out and we find our QB doesn't RR deserve credit for that? Are we talking about RR's draft from his whole tenure here? Or just the last 2 years?

Still have 80% of the season to play. I want to see a lot more from Howell and EB.

Not really because he has no idea how to formulate a team or develop players. What he has done to the OL is an abysmal disgrace. Name a player he has developed.

what has he done that is impressive since he has been here? He took over a .500 team and it is still a .500 team.

He took over a 3-13 team in 2020. Where are you getting .500 team? He has beaten an undefeated team every year that he has been here. 2020 Pit, 2021 Bucs, 2022 Eagles and hopefully tomorrow's Eagles. He has never had his starting QB complete a full regular season. His drafts haven't been that bad.

I agree he has done nothing with the oline. I agree his FA pickups were not good at all. I understand this board wants RR gone no matter what we do this year. I do agree with you guys that a losing season will get him fired this year. What I dont agree is that most of this board wants him gone even if he has winning season this year and a playoff win. RR has his faults no doubt.

I also heard another interesting take and RR kind of alluded to it in his press conference. They very well could be trying to develop Howell by calling all the passes early. Arfter all this is pretty much a passing league. Maybe they’re more in to developing him at this point than winning
if he does,nt throw the ball earlier leadit,s gonna lead to sacks or errant throws, which we don,t need.

Sorry but the team was a .500 team even though the record did not show it. The QB was why it was a three win team.

Who cares if they defeated an undefeated team? 2020 was 7-9. 2021 was 7-10, and 2022 was 8-8-1.

His starting QBs never finish a season because they simply suck.

RR allowed Trent Williams and Brandon Scherff to leave and has brought in Charles Leno and Andrew Norwell to replace them. RR continually wastes second round picks on the likes of Carson Wentz (tried to), Phadarius and Martin while having gaping holes on the OL. His notable draft picks were 2020 Chase Young, Antonio Gibson. and Kam Curl, 2021 was Jamin Davis, Sam Cosmi, and BSJ, 2022 was Dotson, Mathis, Robinson, and Howell, and 2023 was Forbes and Martin. Those are not good drafts. When you bust on almost every first and second pick and the only truly good far was a sixth round safety, that is not good.

Excellent points.

I am not going to bash rivera.
My question is if harris thinks Rivera is the best coach and GM he can get for this organization? He spent 6 billion on the team that had underachieved for most of 20 years. Does anyone think that harris bought the team with the intent of having Rivera lead it? Maybe that is what harris is thinking or maybe not.

If so, I am guessing Rivera stays.
If harris believes there is a better GM option and better coach option that would come here, then Rivera goes.

I am sure harris has reviewed riveras career in its entirety and is taking notes as the season goes.

No, the QB's were hurt. That is why they didn't finish the season. It happened for 3 years in a row. Tough to win like that. He took over a 3-13 team. That is a fact. Yes, we have lost good players. It means something that they can beat an undefeated team. He has done it every year he has been here, so far. That Eagles win last year didn't mean anything?

Those drafts weren't great, but they weren't all busts. If the 2022 trade down works out RR deserves credit for it. Injures played a huge role here in his drafts.

As far as the drafts go 2020: young, Gibson, Charles, Hudson, Curl, and JSW. This was not a bad draft at all.
2021: 6 out of his 10 picks are still on the team. Davis, Cosmi, BSJ, Brown, Forrest and Bates. Not a bust draft at all.
2022. Jury is still out but looks promising with the trade down.

The drafts as a whole have not been bad at all.

Not picking a fight here and just curious, is there a reason you feel compelled to defend Rivera? I am not going to bash Rivera on the thread.

Did you defend gruden and Zorn like this as well?

No. I agree with you if we lose this year he is gone. I did not like Gruden and Zorn at all. IMO I like RR better than those guys.

Understood.

What do you think harris is thinking at this point?
Do you think he has someone picked out already?

I personally think harris thinks we can do better than Rivera, especially on the GM front.

Harris firing doc rivers or at least signing off on it was surprising. Rivers is a good coach.

Gruden did oversee the drafting of our current core: TMac, Allen, Payne, and sweat
Gruden also secured 2 winning seasons in his first 3 years.

I liked Gruden as a game caller, less so as a head coach. Zorn and Spurrier were not going to be successful from the jump.

I would think that Harris wouldnt have to shop in the bargain basement for either GM’s or Head coaches simlly because he isnt Snyder.
