I'm not good with Math, is that enough for DeBrincat?

Those were also both just stupid.

Marner and Point were both RFA in situations where teams could’ve made lives hell for Toronto and TB and nobody pulled the trigger. If they didn’t then they never will.
Probably figured Toronto would make their own life hell without any help from other teams.

what are the rumoured players going the other way for Debrincat? Seems all the higher priced Isles that would have to be moved in a Debrincat trade to accommodate the cap have NTC or NMC ... except for Noah Dobson and Romanov ... and Matt Barzal

Pageau the one constantly coming up with probably a Wahlstrom thrown in and a pick. Still would need to clear cap space.

Seems like a typical guy the Isles are "in on" but never has much of a chance of happening

He's still around

The Dallas Stars announced on Tuesday that they've agreed to terms on a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000 with unrestricted free agent defenceman Derrick Pouliot.

3 years ? woah! good for him lol
I mean.... WHY?!?!?

Could only be two things:

1) Extra term means he is more likely to pass through waivers.

2) Dorion is a clown who doesn't care about future years because he knows he'll be rightfully canned in the next few months.

I'm gonna say it's a dash of door #1 with lots of door #2.

Can't wait until the day when Dorion gets a pink slip crammed down his throat.

legacy contract? or is he still worth $7M per year wow
He’ll be a year older than Giroux was when his $6.5m AAV Sens deal started and Giroux more than outplayed that. This is basically the same cap% once the bump happens next year.

And Kopi’s still good defensively.

I say it’s fine.
