Heard on a podcast that Chad Henne said that Bieniemy designed and called both of the easy redzone scores for the Chiefs in the Superbowl.

I haven't sent the quote directly but that what's being reported.

You do? Go on….
Not gonna say I have an inside scoop. But story last year was Mahomes and Bieniemy had problems. Only guy to come out of the Andy Reid offensive coaching staff since he went to KC was Doug Pederson and Doug was with him in Philly from the beginning. Maybe Andy taught Bieniemy everything he knows, maybe Bieniemy actually remembers it. But I don't think so. Without Andy he'll flounder.

I have heard it was Andy from a KC radio guy but in the end,, who cares ... if he learned from Andy and can be a similar coach then great. One key thing is Andy called plays .... something that was complained about with the last OC. Food for thought.

Let me tell you how Kansas State (KSU) runs there football program under there Defense minded coach Klieman.... The O.C is Colin Klien (he had job offers from Notre Dame so he is legit) ..he has 100 percent control of the offense what does that mean? I will tell you . It means he does 100 percent of all Offensive recruiting , he calls 100 percent of the plays . He works as a headcoach of offense all offensive players report to him not To the head coach Cris Klieman this is the same on Defense . Now what does the HC do ? I will tell you his primary job is game Manger he tells the OC to pass more or Run More he tells the DC to blitz more or zone more .. klieman calls 0 plays that's not his job in this structure .. I bring this up because I have a point and there is alot dumbasses out there saying EB don't call plays etc etc that's a bunch of crap... AFTER talking to my cousin which is a season chief ticket holder and die hard chief fan he says Andy calls some of the plays not all what you see on Sunday is Andy vision on the team not EBs .. I bring ksu up because they win 8 game plus a year under that system with recruiting classes ranked in 40-60 nothing wrong giving 100 power to a OC and DC... commanders offenses ranks bad in most categories if EB takes this offense to at least top 11 he will get HC job somewhere and I will say 100 sure it will be the Commanders the new owner can fire RR or give him a F.O job.. RR has alot of class I think RR would take the F.O job before getting fired ..

I am cautiously optimistic. Bieniemy comes with huge red flags. The argument with Mahomes. Didn't call the plays. Nobody else really wanted him. McCoy saying that he just yells at players and doesn't know anything.

Was Andy being truthful about Bieniemy's football chops or was he a used car salesman trying to get a lemon off the lot?

Time will tell. Maybe it's a good hire and I'm just punch drunk as a fan from so many previous disappointments when it comes to this team.

Of all the people Ron interviewed, I felt Bieniemy had the biggest upside though.

I think Ron let's Eric do his thing. Not sure Bieniemy takes the job otherwise. The only time I could see Ron stepping in is if Eric gets into it with a player of something like that. Word is Eric is no nonsense and pushes his players.

No that's wrong .. chiefs offense was Andy's vision it is what Andy wanted .. EB called the plays most of the time .. people sound like EB just lallalalalalalala.. Commander EB wants his own baby his own vision not Andy Reids

You may be right, but I've heard that for the most part Andy called the plays. Doesn't really matter at this point, he's here. Wishing him good luck.

Look I know the bad things that are possible . I know the good things that are possible. I think it’s a good hire , but will distraction and corruption rear it’s ugly head

I dont remember that being the story last year, but I do remember the sick halftime adjustments the chiefs made on offense last sunday to win the super bowl.

Your comments above read like sour grapes.

I guess we’ll see…

Sour grapes? Nothing that happened in the Super Bowl changed my opinion in anyway. I'm sure it was Reid making the most important adjustments in the most important game and whom has always publicly given credit to his underlings.
