Bieniemy has been with Kansas City since 2013, winning two Super Bowls with the team in 2019 and 2022.

This is actually quite brilliant all around. The likelihood of extreme success next season is minimal; however, with an improved offense, we could make a ton of noise.

Why this makes sense for the organization…we know we will have new ownership and they will want their own people. Ideally, EB can make SH a legit QB and give both SH and the organization stability for years.

Why this makes sense for RR…he knows the offense is complete garbage and he has to know he needs a miracle to be retained. After seeing the KC offense, in particular through play design, as evidenced by two wide open TD passes that anybody on this board could have made, he has to know that it was Bienemy and film study that exploited the Philadelphia defense. RR knows EB will put in the work and knows how to coach the offense…granted, he won’t have Mahommes.

Why this makes sense for EB…he has been passed up numerous times for HC by all NFL teams. Maybe he doesn’t interview all that well but he is obviously talented. Knowing he has a grest offensive resume, he can come here and get his foot in the door. If he improves the offense, this has to give him a heads up at the HC slot should it become available.

Great hire. Plus, assistant Head coach title. complete control of the offense AND personnel stuff. Like I said he got the keys to the offense. Now he can make decisions on offensive personnel. That's huge. He can tell RR what guys he wants on offense.

I am guessing the following come with little to no problems:

Andrew Wylie = RT
Jerrick McKinnon = 3rd down back
Mecole Hardman = 4th WR and PR

Brown will be a hard sell and might get franchised. We need to give EB as much help as he needs and give him some early draft picks as well.

If Bieniemy crushes it, Ron probably gets his 5th year and Bieniemy is a HC somewhere else. If Bieniemy flames out, everyone is gone.
