I'd absolutely ad it I was wrong if I was. All I recall saying about it was I would rather we just keep him as opposed to dealing him for a late pick.

This is why I'm not taking victory laps for it (for at least saying I knew it), as it's possible they could have. But that's not the M.O. of you or others. Hell, even when they are factually incorrect.

I've been steadfast in saying no reason to release him. sure, I said I'd prefer they not deal him for a late round pick but never said they wouldn't do that and if they think they need to have at it. I happened to agree nearly every time @Shanemansj13 made his prediction on what he thought would happen so, yes, I definitely thought it was possible (he was pretty darn close on the actual outcome) what happened would go down.

Now, if Watson does get a year suspension and we play Brissett as the starter the entire year? Then I would certainly question the FO and believe there was no chance Baker was ever playing here again no matter what happened. However, would not surprise me if Browns have an idea suspension wont be so long or plan to deal for someone like Jimmy G if it is. Be a shame to punt the season with Brissett as the starter all year.
