When most superstar players leave a team they're usually destined for the lottery. The Raptors have done better than that fortunately, although they didn't even make the playoffs last year.
Didnt make the playoffs after not playing a home game in almost 2 seasons
Being ravaged by covid and other injuries However here we are

And Ill say it again Fuck kawhi. Anyone who leaves I say the same

He would have won another ring in the bubble against your lakers so you should thank him

LOL A good position in the League? What does this even mean? They have one of the best front offices in the NBA, One of the best coaches in the NBA and one of the best young cores in the NBA.

If Kawhi stayed we probably get another ring. He left. We pivot and the Raptors will be just fine
Yeah, weird as diatribe.

You got a ring.

You got a rookie stud replacement.

You didn't get stuck with his contract.

You have a better record, playoff position than the team that paid him to not play all Season.

I'm confused on the downside for you?

So, he was obligated to stay because they traded for him?

He was obligated to want to stay with the Spurs for the same reason?

Yeah, I don't get that either. The Raps got their first title and were left with a solid team. And looking at what has happened with him since then, they may have gotten his last truly great year. Seems like an all around win to me.

Their defensive ranking is built on most of a season with a not caring Harden, no Simmons and half KD.

A fully healthy Nets wouldn’t be an elite unit, but they would be above average defensively for sure.

Well that's a bummer to hear. They're a very unlikeable team.

I heard from a very unreliable source Toronto smells like maple syrup and moose turds.

It's been around 30 years since I've been to Toronto but I liked the place.

Yeah, I feel that way about the guys who walk away, not the ones that get traded.

I root for Blake the most.

I hope the Cavs don't get detained by customs again like they did during the '16 playoffs.

It's like the Lakers and Davis.

He forced himself out of Nola, like Kawhi did in San Antonio.

Even if you never win again with him on the roster, do you regret trading for him?

Pretty sure the Raps feel the same.

Yes. That’s exactly what I said. Word for word.
Hey, I'm just looking for clarification because what you did say was equally as nonsensical.

Kawhi did to the Spurs what Davis did to NOLA.

You got a ring out of it.

You definitely aren't getting another as currently constructed.

You likely fall out the playoffs.

You regret the Davis deal?
