That's right. With Dandy Don, Howard Cosell, and Frank Gifford, it was the most entertaining sportscast on the air. The trio was actually together for only five years since Meredith left to pursue acting roles then returned. Other commentators joined Gifford and Cosell over the years.

Now, wait a minute, everybody, hold it! If the Phils win 7 of the next 9 the take 6 of the final 9, they'll be at 85-77 and possibly enough to overtake Cincy and St Louie. Yowza!
