Maybe if they are lucky the Cowboys will win what has become their 21st Century Super Bowl for them of beating the Eagles during the regular season. Gotta take what you can get I suppose.
not really....beating the eagles is kinda the norm most years.
Dak beat Seattle in a home playoff game. AMVP played 7 plays at home, wanted no more and lost

besides 50 plus years is greater than 25 years & 5 is still greater than 1 cause at the end of the day, they all count the same

Weird how you will try to reach back to historic glory to lean on yet not count the Eagles championships prior to the SB. Then again the Cowboys aren't really a historical professional football franchise. They are just a NFL franchise that hasn't had any real success in over a quarter century.

Go ahead and go back to 1948 to a league with 10 teams and the Playoffs took a grand total of 1 game.
Include them all you still can't match the Cowboys

Think about it this way, 27 or so more years and your all still 2nd fiddle.

Think about it this way old timer, the football you adore from 25+ years ago is going to be looked at the same way you currently look at football from 1948. Meanwhile, unlike a living on long ago past loser like Cowboys fans I'm living in an era of Champions for the Eagles with Wentz, Doug, Cox & Graham.

I go with Dak, but I'm not happy about it. Gotta build everything perfect around the guy if you have expectations of winning in the playoffs and further.

It's already been shown you can do without Wentz. That's the issue.

I know most Eagles fans are shitting on Jalen Hurts, but it won't be surprising if he ends up winning equal number of games or more than Wentz if he takes over.

It's a great era, 6 straight over the Eagles.

You haven't told me shit. You said Dak will never win a super bowl, but Wentz won't either. Dak has a better chance than Wentz with weapkns Dallas has put around bim.

I see that you’ve started to drink as well.

Maybe, but at least the football I adore had more than 10 teams, had to play more than 1 playoff game to earn the championship and played when every team open their rosters up to all races.

Let me add that I was watched every championship the Cowboys played in, can you say the same?

Exactly!
It is called a superbowl era. That era wont change. instead of a handful of teams, it had 26 I believe. it is when the NFL Evolved. Granted it continues to evolve (not always for the better) but the Superbowl era is the starting point of what anyone today knows of when you hear NFL. (except for you couple of old stubborn bastards) :)

Also. The Superbowl Era is very Clear cut.
In the Superbowl era
I have to hand it to the Steelers. They have stayed the most consistent in relevance.
Niners & Cowboys obviously are also well represented, but from the 70's (actually late 60's) til now. Steelers are most consistent.
Pats own the Salary cap era which is also very well defined. (also best dynasty in NFL)

So bottom line.
I dont think the Cowboys Success will be looked at ever (by anyone with intelligence) as they do a 1948 team.

I don't have anything against amateur and semi-pro sport per se, but comparing the semi-pro days of the NFL to the modern era is pointless.

I always wish if a OLineman gets a false start they get charged with a half a sack when diagnosing/grading their game play.

I think it would be a great marketing/punishment tool to have a "penalty jar" like a swear jar. $1k per yard, loss of downs also get you double and a second contract guy gets extras thrown in or something like that. Guys could brag about not being in it and shame the shit outta the guilty parties and donate to a good cause. Make a big deal about it while helping in the community.

I hate false starts. And as someone indicated, Flo was often cussed at.
