So in other news I asked our Jewel-Osco (large chain in Illinois at least) whether or not people can get arrested or stopped if they come into the store without a mask. Long story short, nope. And cops really wont do anything. I've yet to see someone go full assault on a poor store attendant without a mask, but I'm sure it's happened.

The guy who I was talking to said "For $2/hr additional hazard pay, I'm not putting myself out there." I was baffled that's ALL they're giving their employees. $2 extra.. for being in a dirty store with people in and out non-stop... wearing an uncomfortable mask 24/7. Really!?

It was pretty funny as I was talking to him (since I'm sure it's the first verbal contact an employee has had outside of 'hi' for the last 8 weeks), people were GLARING at me as they went by with their carts after checkout. I think they were convinced I was arguing with him about policy or in trouble. Every person was eye locking me walking by, LOL. Was ready to "THIS IS SPARTA" kick their carts full of bullshit down the stairs.
