What chance do you give the Titans to come out of the AFC

They will lose next week
If it's KC, i think they win. If it's Houston, anyone's guess but I'd bet against the Titans. If the Titans gameplan well, they're extremely dangerous. (pretty obvious huh?)

I would like nothing more than to defeat the Ravens and ruin their season as the #1 seed. After all the Ravens ruined the Titans #1 seed twice in the Titans 13-3 2000 season and then their 13-3 2008 season.
Oh, how I remember those devastating losses. :L

The way they were able to handle the Ravens QB and run for so many yards if they play the Chiefs I think they can contain and pressure Mahomes enough to make it a game either team can win

This is why you don’t rest players, especially when you are hot. Ravens screwed the pooch. Good. Fuckem.

Loss had a lot more to do with the 4th down gambling not going their way, injury to maybe their lone elite pass-catcher in Andews, and just general randomness (tip-drill INT).

Yeah Lamar missed some stuff, but I think it's a pretty hot take to blame it on rest.

Ravens played their game, which included going for it on 4th down. No way you win a game against a hot team after sitting around for 3 weeks.

Be ironic if the Titians win it all after Hammer sold SportsHoopla.

I don't like to see player rest unless they have an actual nagging injury that would benefit from them not playing but it's a tough spot to be in for a coach.

With as much as Lamar runs I do understand the thinking because he's more likely to get hurt and he's taken more wear and tear on his body than a typical QB but I still probably would've kept him in the final game and just let him throw it and run it at lot less. Throwing the ball is where he needs to continue to develop anyways so why not force him to work on it.

But if someone gets hurt in the final game you're going to get blasted for playing guys in a meaningless game and if you lose your guys were rusty so you should've played them.

It's one of those things that you're a genius if it works and you win or you're a moron if you lose.

and if the Ravens had won the conversation would be about how fresh they were from resting up for the playoffs. Specious argument.

2000 kills me.

one of the best teams during that timeline. Freaking kicker. Del Greco cost that franchise some huge games.

2008 hurt less. Kerry Collins was not the right call ever.

About a 35-40% chance right now.

Drops to 30 if the Chiefs win tomorrow.

Just me spitballing.

The Chiefs S-U-C-K against the run. Titans vs Chiefs and Derrick Henry will break every rushing record against KC. The Titans will have the Chiefs DL on oxygen by the end of the first quarter. Henry will rush for somewhere between 225-260 yards and he'll need oxygen by the fourth quarter.

Mahomes can't run like Jackson and even with 100 yds rushing he couldn't solve the Titans defense.

Vrabel learned well in NE and has taken the Belichick method to heart. Take away a critical piece of your opponents' offenses and force their defense to adapt to something new. Like your running back throwing a 3 yard TD pass on 3rd and Goal.

You love the Chiefs, but be realistic. 50/50 is the least I'd give the Titans.

I think the Chiefs have already celebrated not having to play the Ravens and just might get their asses handed to them today.

After knocking out the Patriots and Ravens on the road, you get my respect. At this point the Titans have as good a chance as any of the remaining teams to win it all.

Bigger question now: Will Tannehill throw for 100 yards?

This bodes well for Henry and the Titans hence why I think it would be a pretty good matchup.

Great call out on Vrabel funny he learned that but none of the old NE coordinators who became head coaches couldn't.

It would be kinda funny if Tannehill returned to Miami for the SB....could very well happen.

I can easily see the Titans beating either the Texans or the Chiefs. More easily the Chiefs.
