The Defense showed a little improvement for a little while in the first game.
Maybe that will carry over into this game.
Same defense Baylore runs.Ok. Heard on the radio today that they run a "position-less" defense.
Anybody know what that is???
They just do whatever they want. They don't need your rules, man.Ok. Heard on the radio today that they run a "position-less" defense.

Means they cant croot WOS so just throw 11 bodies out there and hope for the best.Ok. Heard on the radio today that they run a "position-less" defense.

The bad news is, some of the defensive players will prob be girls so look for at least 5 OU players (ok thugs) to get arrested for domestic violence and or R*pe during the game..
it worries me that we are only having to pay them $575,000 to come in and play. don't most teams get about a million bucks for it?
Wouldn't this game make more sense to be played in say.. Mid November down the conference stretch? Not just for OU but all the Big12 teams?
Be a good chance to rest some of the players during the conference run ( looking at you SEC and I have no prob with it ) and the tomato cans will play whenever for their pay day.

Basically it's the absence of fixed position players. Everyone is expected to play a hybrid of responsibilities, whether it be stopping the run, rushing the passer, or dropping into coverage.Ok. Heard on the radio today that they run a "position-less" defense.
Anybody know what that is???
Maybe, but I like them early like this, myself.

OU won't be playing Tulsa again unless Montgomery is gone.Id like to see the Big12 go with that policy.
Maybe an OU v … Tulsa? or UTSA or Rice (insert regional G5 easy W here) ect. for this early game then a FCS tomato can later.
WVU v.. Marshall? or NC Charlotte ect. then a roster game down the stretch. I think it would be good for the teams/conference.
Well... I just used them as an example of a regional opponent, it could be anyone of that ilk. Just as long as they fill seats AND give a W.OU won't be playing Tulsa again unless Montgomery is gone.
He pulled some shit in the last game that got TU blackballed from getting any more $$$$ from OU.
