Not sure what you're referencing in the first part there, but I just don't like the whole not giving credit to the opponents when they clearly do something to you thing. It's unsportsmanlike and it's a dick move. Honest or not.

Fine, just saying I like it when athletes say what they think. Klay credits the opposition plenty, just not those times.

I mean, we all see it. The Clippers didn't really beat the Warriors in game 2 and 5, the Warriors didn't show up and beat themselves.

Yes, refs call it wrong sometimes because basketball is hard to officiate.

But you were originally talking about wanting to change the rule. The rules already say this isn't a foul, so there is nothing to change.

You also have to watch arm position. The defender has to go up straight, in addition to not being the one to initiate any contact on their end. If the defender goes straight up, but comes down, even slightly on the shooting hand and makes contact, it's a foul.

If I said I want the rule changed then I didn't say it right (but I don't know my original comment nor care). I am saying I wish they would not call fouls when it's clear the guy with the ball initiates the contact. This does not mean he gets the guy in the air coming at him and he stays there so that guy lands on him. I'm talking he gets the guy in the air, then leans or moves under where he is going to land.

. Agree it's a very hard job and have said as much, but seems like they miss this one more than they should when it's often easy to see they missed it.
