Awe....is the poor Cowboys fan butthurt because Dak did not make the list? If you want to feel better you can go get some pledge and wipe the dust off the old Cowboys SB rings. That should cheer you up. Or if you have VHS player you can break out the tapes and replay their history. Hopefully they have not degraded too much over the last 30 years.

I think the list is more of a what have you done for me lately thing. It is voted on by the players so it carries a lot of weight IMO. This list is nothing more than who the players think will peform the best for the upcoming season.

I actually give more weight to Top 100 list more than I do any of the other rankings. I do this because it is voted on by all the players. With that said I may not agree completely with the actual ranking. I think Wentz based on last years performance is a top 10 player but with that said if he would have fell 10-20 I would not have found a reason to object to that. I believe he belonged on the list based on what he showed his rookie season and his improvement the following season. If I am going to be honest I think Aaron Rodgers should have been in his spot at #3. I don't feel injuries should have made him fall. He still had the ability and should have been in the top 5.

Apparantly the players do. This seems to be a big deal to them and it is obvious by the responses.

Here is the thing that is really cracking me up. The Wentz hate. While I personally think that he may be too high because he is only in his second year there really should not be any debate about how good a QB he is. The fact that some of these morons throw up that Foles has a playoff win and Wentz does not is just flat stupid. Some of you are acting like Wentz was benched and that is why he did not play. You really need to pull your heads out of your asses. At worse Wentz as going to finish second in MVP voting and according to many he was the clear front runner. I think it is safe to say he probably would have peformed just as well in the playoff as Foles did. I think it is safe to say given the way the team was coached in the playoffs the Eagles would have won the SB with Wentz as the QB as well. I see nothing that would suggest otherwise. The Eagles were the best TEAM in the NFL last year. It does not get any simpler than that.

Wentz so good his team was able to win all their playoff games and a SB without him.

I can agree with most of what you just said except for the "Wentz Hate". For myself and I'm guessing most of us it's not "Wentz Hate" its acting as though the book is closed off of 2017 by itself. That same list was a whole lot different in 2017 and will be different in 2019. Maybe Wentz stays where he is, maybe he falls, he could be higher, we just dont know. To me it's more about a MORON thinking history is complete off if this list.
I fully agree the Eagles win the SB with Wentz, I think the whole team over achieved but none over achieved more than Foles. Dude caught lightning in a bottle.

Naw, I figured just never bothered to confirm.

You can say anything, but that doesn't mean it's correct.
Ignoring the differences in eras, Those 70's teams had pairs of HOF RBs and WRs, a HOF center, and a HOF QB. Plus were better at TE IMO. The current team can't match that. Plus the 70's team was able to play smash mouth football early in the decade and then air it out passing late in the decade with the same core personnel. The 70's team was considered the team of the decade. The current team plays second fiddle to NE. I don't think I need to go on.

I would agree the current team has more potential but it has remained unrealized potential and that makes them less talented in my book.
