Again, you're missing the point. They aren't just looking to dump Kemba; it will be Kemba/Batum, or Kemba/Marvin, or Kemba/Kidd-Gilchrist, or Kemba/Zeller, etc.

Getting JR and the #8 for Kemba is a net loss for the Hornets. Mitch is smarter than that.

getting the #8 pick by itself for an expiring Kemba WAlker is without a doubt reasonable. We will have to agree to disagree there.

I will bet you my left testicle that if CP3 signs in Houston and George signs in OKC that LeBron will not be IN LA unless a Kawhi trade is made. He is NOT going there alone.
Thanks Captain Obvious. Was anyone arguing LeBron would go to LA without another big time player?

I don't wager here, and if I did, you would be my LAST choice. How often have you disappeared or failed to carry through on a bet, lol?
0 as you can see from my

but its a nice try. I understand you dont have the balls to back it up. Its cool

Hey- I totally concede there is a substantial chance bron and george go to the Lakers.

I just think that anyone who thinks Leonard is going there is smoking crack.

and that if George resigns in OKC the LeBron to LAL rumors die as soon as the ink is dry on George's contract. He is not going there alone.

Kemba has not said he was leaving yet. He just said he's tired of missing the playoffs. A solid offseason could put the Hornets back in the playoff picture (especially once the Cavs plummet out of contention).

go back in this thread and look- people have suggested just that today as a possibility.

however, like i said in another post- its almost a chicken or the egg argument

if LeBron goes there and commits before other guys commit- they can without a doubt follow him.

but would he do that? I dont know- i sincerely doubt it- esp. if he was offered a chance to stay in CLE with a roster that has been upgraded.

Why all the talk about balls and testicles? Still haven't found a girlfriend? Besides, you think it takes balls to bet fake money? Are you 10?

hey i get how you try and obfuscate the actual issue.

Leonard going to LA.

I say there is no chance.

Apparently you think there is a chance.

I am telling you right now it wont happen no matter how much you try and change the subject- and that you are right to not bet on it because you would lose.

lol....i dunno what do you have to offer? an inch of your dick? (i wouldnt want you to lose 50% of it)

CP3, George, Kawhi---- if one does not join LeBron in LA there is no possible way he is going there.
What about Boogie and LeBron?

There is no question all these guys are on the phone with each other every day figuring it out. If LeBron commits to LA it's only because another guy has committed to join him, after they talked it out.

There is clearly a good chance. He said the Lakers are his first choice, and he can be a free agent next summer. He can easily get to the Lakers next summer if he wishes (and the Lakers will keep their roster flexible to allow for that if they wish).

I totally agree.

No way LeBron goes there if one of CP3, George or Leonard do not join him.

From what I have read and seen thus far, I believe CP3 stays in Houston. I believe that the Spurs will not trade Leonard to the Lakers for a variety of reasons- the package, the fact that Pop and Leonard have not talked yet, the fact that I dont think Pop would "reward" Leonard and give him what he wants, the fact that the Spurs could more than likely get a better deal elsewhere, the fact that the Spurs would not want to create a super team to play against for the next 3-5 years esp. considering Bufford and Pop wont be there for the long-long haul etc.

Its George or bust in my estimation. If George goes there, the chances of LeBron going there go up substantially. If George signs in OKC, i think the speculation of LeBron to LA ends with the ink on George's contract. I think its about 60/40 George goes to LA. I think its about 50/50 between LA and Cleveland for LeBron and will depend on what Cleveland can pull off in the next 2 weeks.

When you say no chance do you mean this off-season or forever? Because @shopson67 is right, he could easily sign there as an FA year after next.

Indiana had little interest in Paul George trade w/ Lakers -- and that'll be case for Spurs too. Boston gives Spurs best building blocks of assets -- one of young forwards (likely Jaylen Brown), its own 18 pick/19 protected Kings pick, etc. Lonzo to Spurs? Don't hold your breath.

If Kawhi Leonard does become available in trade talks, the Boston Celtics will be interested in probing the Spurs about a deal, league sources tell ESPN. Boston inquired about a trade prior to the February deadline, sources said.

Sources: So far, Leonard has expressed nothing directly to Spurs about future. Lakers and Clippers interest Leonard -- and both teams would move quickly to assemble packages to acquire Leonard. Spurs won't rush. Leonard and his camp had shown interest in $219M super max deal.

I mean this offseason obviously. Who the hell knows what is going to happen 2 weeks from now, let alone a year from now.

The most important thing about Kawhi to me is how it effects LeBron.

You have no idea, nor do any of us.
you know many stories I read that Kevin Love was just counting down the days to his free agency before he definitely went to the Lakers?

The same with Paul George and now we hear he might resign in OKC- or that there is at least a significant non-zero chance that he will (id ballpark it at about 35-40% he resigns in OKC).
