since 1996.. and the last DAL SB (only 1 year since the start of the salary cap)..

DAL has not even BEEN to an NFC championship game (correction, I thought they had not won one. They have not even BEEN to one).

PHI has been to 6! Winning 2 of them, for 2 SB appearances, winning 1, losing 1.

Since 1995, the overall regular season record is:

DAL: 174 - 162 (.518)
PHI: 186 - 148 (.557)

Over the past 21 years, the end of season standings has gone:

TIE: 2 times
DAL 7 times
PHI 12 times

The point was... people were saying you can't count the championships before it was called the Superbowl. Well, the game has changed considerably since the salary cap as well. And while DAL was an absolute dynasty earlier, since 1996 and the affects of the salary cap... they SUCK! Just saying...
The cowboys imo were good bc of their coaching, not the salary cap.

The eagles are better since the cap mostly due to Andy Reid.

How convenient that it took 3 seasons for the "effects of the salary cap", and that 3rd season just HAPPENS to be when the Dallas drought started.

correct...but not as much as one would think in the salary cap era
1994 through 2017
Phiily 8 division 1st place finishes, Dallas 8
Philly 213 wins, Dallas 208

5 game difference in 24 years
each team with a championship

So 12 more wins over the last 22 years = Eagles Great while Dallas sucks?
Truth is over the Dallas has Sucked years Philly's accomplishments were so minutely better they were basically equal until you all got your cherry popped.

6 NFC Championship appearances to 0
2 SB appearances to 0
1 SB win to 0

Yes, the last one was the cherry popping moment, but 6 NFC championship appearances in 21 years to DAL's 0???? DAL been sucking awhile.

Thank goodness for that 1994 and 1995 season to skew them stats a little, to include the intro of the salary cap intro. But as the affects of the salary cap began to take affect, how has dallas looked after that 1995 season SB?? Not a single appearance to the NFC championship game, even to lose it, in 21 years. So in the division 1st place appearances, DAL couldn't do anything with it.

DAL's has had a better end of season record 7 times, to PHI's 12 times. Tied 2x.

Back to the point, DAL SUCKS, since 1995 (I'm glad to add that qualifier)

5 > 1

numbers don't lie.

5>4 if you include all the championships

if your going to cherry pick them.... the new NFL has operated in a salary cap for the last 23 years. In that time, it's

1 = 1

DAL eeked 1 last SB out before the affects of that salary cap took affect. And they have sucked since. In this salary cap arena,

it's 1 > 0

but give it time. We are not done yet. And DAL hasn't even figured out how to reach the NFC championship game in 22 years.

DAL SUCKS (since 1995)

Historically, Dallas owns the NFC East, the NFC and the Super Bowl.

More of each than any other NFC East team. (since forever)

I knew you have little knowledge of how a calendar works and your NFL knowledge is infantile at best, but effect and affect are not interchangeable.

0 for 2 in this post.

I don't think he is going to get it. Saying it's solely due to the salary cap is about the same as saying they were only good until Larry Brown went to Oakland or something and they won't win a SB until they get him back.

It was a heck of a lot more Jimmy Johnson leaving than it was the salary cap

So now you don't even like how it looks since the salary cap, which you of course brought up, so you are going with: "Since two years after the salary cap..."

Can you be a little more random? Maybe if you did just odd numbered years it would be even better for you.

The only thing here that means squat is the SB win. Other than that it's JUST 12 more wins over 22 years over a team that "SUCKS". Chew on that for a moment.

Big brother must have really pissed you off growing up.
