My guess is there are alot of guys who averaged more than 4.6 yards per touch last season. I can give you a list if you really would like to see how far down Gordon would be.
He had the 3rd most carries in the league. Workhorsing is significant for the offense.

Especially when you produce high end numbers behind a dogshit offensive line.

Yet you still can't give me the list I asked about. That's what I thought.

That list proves nothing other than him getting opportunity. If he was a special talent he wouldn't be 29th in DYAR and 33rd in DVOA. Like you ranked him 4th and that football outsiders website ranked him 29th last season.

Yeah he got alot of opportunity. I'd agree with that.

3. Bell
4. Johnson
5. Fournette
6. McCoy
7. Kamara
8. Hunt

I struggle with the rest. I hesitate to put rookies up there, and no one else really stands out of the crowd. It's a large middle class it seems. I could see Derrick Henry making a big leap this year w/o Murray being in the way. I still say Barkley is being oversold, but he could be on the list next year if he lives up. The Eagles may lean on Ajayi more as Wentz is coming back from injury, so he could shine as well. The group of Penny/Michel/Chubb may have someone that emerges is a legit featured back.

Again, running behind a horrible OL. Him being 4th in broken tackles says that he's effective though. He was a huge part of them having a successful season offensively.

Again, I never said he was the 4th most talented RB, but I feel his output will be right around there.

And he held up tremendously with a heavy workload and horrible line. That's an intangible that is priceless to teams.

Of what quality?

Don't just be an advanced statistic freak now.
Be able to think the game.

I am able to think the game. Just like with mostly everyone else here I don't think he's a top 10 RB.

It's on the 2nd page of this thread.
Bell - probably better than Gordon, same YPA as Gordon, significantly better offensive line. Also, Gordon has had a much better YPC (catch) than Bell the last 2 years and has more TDs on fewer overall touches
Gurley - better than Gordon, but Gordon does have a better YPC over the last 2 years
David Johnson - coming off of a major injury, significantly higher fumble:carry ratio than Gordon
Elliot - better than Gordon, but Gordon does have a better tackle break %
Kamara - not a true bellcow, beneficiary of much more explosive offense, 2nd fewest # of carries vs. 8 men in the box among all qualified rushers in NFL last year
Hunt - better than Gordon
Barkley - entirely unproven, college career not as impressive as Gordon's
Shady - lower tackle %, nearly identical YPC, fewer TDs on more touches
Freeman - not a true bellcow, much higher fumble:carry ratio
Jordan Howard - one-trick pony, liability on passing downs

Pretty easy to pick Gordon over most of your guys

You just nailed the one guy that's going overlooked that will end up in the Top 10

Derrick Henry

I'll toss in Kenyon Drake as a sleeper candidate

Henry could find his way up there, but Drake has no shot. He's a decent complimentary back, like a poor man's Dion Lewis.

After 6 it was difficult. I'm willing to listen about not including Howard. He did have a great rookie season. I'm also not just going entirely off of one season(2017). And I projecting with Barkley.
