Pairing one of the best tackle breakers with one of the worst. I dont agree with this at all.

I bet Cook will be on this list but I gotta see him come back from the injury. Maybe Saquon but to early to tell.

I'm splitting hairs and guessing a bit here but I suspect it will look something like this:

1. Todd Gurley
2. Leveon Bell
3. Ezekial Elliott
4. Kareem Hunt
5. David Johnson
6. Saquon Barkley
7. Alvin Kamara
8. Leonard Fournette
9. LeSean McCoy
10. Dalvin Cook

Honestly these names could be in almost any order. Honorable mention to whoever start for the Patriots

Not sure what I was doing when this thread started, so I'm quite a bit late to the party.

The top 3 are pretty much in stone, but I might arrange the bottom 7 a bit differently. If Barkley is truly what they media thinks he's probably in there somewhere.

One guy is missing...For me, seeing this guy week in, week out, Devonta Freeman goes ahead of Kamara, Hunt and Barkley (until I see him on an NFL field). Kamara is great as a change of pace RB...with Ingram out 4 games, we're going to see if he can carry the load.

McCaffrey is gonna have more carries this year, more opportunities for receptions as well. Even with the signing of C.J Anderson, I think his rushing production will go up. Plus, when you take a look at the Panthers' schedule, not too many challenging defenses to go through. Atlanta twice, New Orleans twice, Pittsburgh and maybe Philly? And 3 of those games are played at the end of the season. I can see McCaffrey hitting 1500 all-purpose yards this year.

As far as Hunt goes, I put him low because of the great year he had last year and with the rookie QB behind center. I wouldn't be surprised if Hunt hits that sophomore slump this year and I wouldn't be surprised if the Chiefs as a whole hit a slump this year. Mahomes running the offense who had 1 year to learn behind Alex Smith? No confidence for me. Also, I don't see Hunt hitting 1300 rushing yards again this year. I also think his receiving options are cut down because of the signing of Sammy Watkins.

When you think about best RBs, you have to think of their rushing, obviously, but also their receiving opportunities and capabilities as well. McCaffery is a better receiving back than Hunt and I think the expectations of Hunt are gonna be so high this year that he just won't be able to perform up to those standard. I think McCaffrey and the highly upgraded Panthers' roster are a really good contender for the NFC title this year.

Start watching at 5:44 and notice which olineman they got rid of last year.

I do think McCaffrey has some upside next year as a receiver and getting finding ways to get him in space. That said, I'd actually be a little stunned if he was a top 10 RB next year

He'll be fine, I would be willing to wager he ends up top 5 if he stays healthy...

If applies to every back! Yet a lot of people include Barkley in their top 10. Cook is in a much better situation...
