There is no value in rigging the lottery. And past results certainly would suggest that they don't rig it.

Call me crazy, but if I'm LeBron, I think the Suns can pitch one of the most attractive options out there.

A lineup of Booker, Jackson, PG13, LeBron, and Ayton.... that's exactly what I'd be looking for (if he does consider leaving CLE): long, young, athletic guys that can shoot.

Even if he can't PG13 on board, the Suns would still have excess cap room for an additional solid FA or two.

Unless he's going to go to the Warriors, Celtics, or Rockets - which I don't think he would ever do - I don't think you can get better than that. And this team would take a couple years to peak, which could actually be better timing due to the Warriors existing.

There are many people who think the 1985 lottery was rigged for Ewing to go to New York.

explain Lonzo Ball then.

He can defend his position very well. Doncic not so much. He's a big 2 guard that will have trouble on the defensive end IMO. His offense could be brilliant, but you'll need the right guys around him to make up for that defense, and pairing him with Booker seems like a horrible idea defensively, even if a brilliant idea offensively.

I'm a bit disappointed in the title. When I saw it I thought for sure LeBron grew some hair.

Lonzo has some very good size for a PG but his athleticism is pretty sub par- he is just plain not good at getting to the rim and finishing. He does use his size well defensively though.

The Suns aren't even close to having enough cap space. Even if they let Payton and Len walk and cut the non-guaranteed contracts, they only have about $28M in space (before Ayton's contract).

Sam Bowie sayz hello.

Bowie was at least good when healthy. I can't remember Oden being healthy long enough to even evaluate. What a shame, but he did look like he was 50 on draft night lol.

Lonzo will be a liability on the court for the Lakers late in close games. He was only 45% from the charity stripe. He better focus on improving that this off season.

Expiring contracts in Chandler and Dudjey are movable and so is TJ Warren. That's another 33 million.

LeBron plus another Max is feasible, especially since one or both would likely be sign and trade.

I think that some of his issues finishing are more related to strength than a lack of athleticism.

Don't get me wrong, he certainly isn't the most athletic player, but with his style of play, he doesn't have to be.

He needs to hit the weight room and add a little muscle. I doubt he'll ever be an elite finisher, but with some added strength and experience, he can at least be a very good finisher.

this is a team that if i were the Heat id have on the phone to try and get rid of whiteside......take back chandlers expiring, and maybe a dudley and pray you get a 2nd rounder or a tj warren or something.

it just sucks the guy is such a disaster offensively-- he cant shoot, he has a very weak pick and roll game since he cant finish at the rim......if he doesnt have the ball in his hands directing traffic and making passes he is worthless out there on offense.

He's young enough that if he truly puts in the time he can improve some parts of his game. He's got the talent to be an NBAer. But like I said earlier his FT% is a major problem. Deandre Jordan (58%) & even Tristan (54%) are better FT shooters. That's horrible for a PG.

And y'all will still get owned by the Nuggets for the foreseeable future...A lame duck front office is still a lame duck front office.

@Arizona_Sting That said, at least the Suns will be a little more interesting in a way that I'll actually want to attend a game down there while visiting my aunt on spring break.

It will also be interesting to see what they do with EP as he hits restricted free agency.

You mean the great Nuggets FO that traded Donovan Mitchell's pick to Utah, and waived Jameer Nelson when they desperately needed a vet backup PG last year? No one cares what you do with your aunt in Phoenix.

Congrats, even if I hated the Suns tanking to get that worst record. I'm excited about the Kings getting Ayton or Luka(assuming they don't KANGZ it), both have their question marks but are at the top of most draft boards for a reason.

Thanks. And yeah, Kings fans gotta be thrilled with that jump up, especially with no pick next year that is huge... you guys get the easy choice of taking whoever we don't. Congrats to yall as well.

Lol @ you fuck nuggets talking down to me with your first round exit/late lottery teams. Suns have been in a rut lately but don't you forget how consistently good they were prior to Nash leaving, dating back to the 70's. We deserve this shit. *mic drop*
