My father was a big Celtics fan, which is the reason they have always been my team. He took me to my 1st game @ the original Garden when I was 8, the '80-'81 season. After that we went to @ least 1 game @ the Garden every year until Larry the Legend retired in '92. I was @ Bird's final NBA game & was lucky enough to meet him during the '96 All Star Game in Cleveland when the 50 greatest players were introduced. That was 1 of the biggest sports thrills of my life.
