I think Patricia wants to build through the draft. At least I hope that is what it is cause so far we got a big fat nothingburger in FA. Just Blount for a year.

I wont lose faith until I see what happens next season. But it is getting difficult.

I know they didn't want to pay Malcolm Butler as much as Slay, but with a free agency that still has run stuffers like Bennie Logan and Johnathan Hankins? Come on... bring one in for a visit. Especially since they play in a 3-4... Don't sit on your hands and do nothing with the cap space. It's not like rookie contracts get that high anymore.

Our salary cap allotment for rookies is 5.5 million, we have about 20 million in cap space on top of that. The FA period was loaded with DT's and we did not bring one of them in.

I hope BQ told Suh to make the rounds, find his best offer then come back to Detroit where we will beat it. Remember when we had the no.2 defense? Good times.

Robinson would do well to learn some of Suh's mean streak too

Hankins is a MI boy too. Logan might be the better fit though.

Have we resigned NGata yet. :dhd:

Total rookie contracts do add up to 5.5, but we only need 2.175 million(possibly less depending on who gets cut when they sign) in space to sign them

We may looking to deal AA for someone big during the draft. Noone gonna take him straight up. We would have the money to do that. Thats the only other thing I can think of.

It’s only $320K dead money to cut him. BQ has plenty of money for that move. I’d also be fine with eating his entire $1.3 million salary for a 6th and dozen Krispy Kreme’s, or in your case a pot of clam chowder.

Free agent Levine Toilolo visited the Lions on Tuesday.

The Lions are looking to add a tight end after parting ways with former first-round Eric Ebron last week. Toilolo nabbed 12-of-14 targets for 122 yards and a touchdown while backing up Austin Hooper in Atlanta last season. The 26-year-old would likely be looking at a similar backup/blocking role in Detroit.

:rolleyes2:
