Intruder (2016)


On Netflix! If you're interested in a home invasion type movie where an intruder stalks around the house for half the movie with an overly dramatic score and very little suspense, then this movie is for you. What a bore-fest. The main victim was a complete idiot too. Also, I'm not mortician or CSI, but wouldn't a corpse start to stink horribly after a day or so? There's no way she wouldn't have smelt that body in her apartment, under her damn bed no less. I think the main goal of this movie was to be disturbingly creepy, but it was too flawed to be remotely believable or realistic.

Hard pass... 3/10

Feed The Gods (2014)


This movie had a good premise and plot, but the writing sorta ruined it as the suspense picked up. It was slow to get off the ground, but it built an intriguing storyline. I liked the cult-like setting of the town of Tendale & the troubled atmosphere. And at least early on I liked the characters. But when the idiotic decision-making becomes the theme of the suspense, it gets very irritating. Sadly you get to that point where you root for their horrific deaths. The acting was good though. This movie had a lot of potential but it ultimately fails to deliver. It certainly wasn't great but as far as Big Foot movies go, I'd have to say it was decent. It wasn't awful or unwatchable, but I wouldn't want to see it again.

Decent slow-burning thriller, but ultimately unravels... 5/10

Mainly for the unique storyline.....thought it was alright.

Seriously, she's got chompers in her vagina? That truly qualifies as horror because I cringe even thinking about it, but is the movie worth watching?

As DJ said, decent for what it is. The idea behind it is really the biggest selling point. Not really thrilling, suspenseful, or scary... Just a drama about a f*cked up condition that a girl uses to her advantage to castrate men. Its tagged as a horror comedy, but never did it ever feel like a comedy. The only comedy I could come up with was the basis of her "condition", which is one of the more ludicrous ideas up there next to the Human Centipede films. Pretty sure that was the intention.

And what about Zoombies?

Haven't watched it. The trailer always gives me that full-blown SyFy film vibe lol which I have to be in a very desperate mood in order to watch. The cgi looks hilarious.

Just had a great thought for a Horror film......zombies on a plane.

The very same reason I haven't watched it either. Has that total look and feel of a tv "let's cash in on the zombie craze" movie. So unlike Zombeavers, which was actually a low budget film that was clever, funny, and delivered enough on the scare factor; it was obviously a labor of love by the people who made it; one of the reasons I love it so much.

That said....

Zombies in a zoo; are we talking zombie monkeys? Ferocious zombie ponies?

I'm there; think I might do an in depth review on this one.
