Know what I am thankful for? I no longer have to see this stupid fucking comment: "How many Superbowls have the Eagles won?" That comment was IMO that copout argument when other teams sucked. Now..... the NFL is full of teams that have greater histories than the Eagles. Every team in the NFC East does. The Steelers, Patriots and Packers just to name some. However I have always been of the mindset that only the most recent Superbowl winners should be talking trash. When I say recent I say teams that have won within the previous 5 years. Who cares about a 1995 Superbowl when it is 2018?

Congrats to Philly fans. Was happy for all the fans to finally get to experience winning a super bowl after those prior super bowl losses. I was fortunate to have experienced 5 super bowls. While they were all great, the first one will always be the best one.

The Eagles did outplay the Patriots. I didn't say they didn't. Saying the Patriots defense didn't show up isn't a knock on the Eagles. It's the most yards combined of any game ever, neither defense showed up.

I felt more like Doug out coached the defense than the defense didn't show up.

Eagles defense...they were getting so Damm close to Brady but he was finding the open guys just before getting decapitated.

Coaching obviously had a lot to do with it, but I don't think you can coach an offense all the way to almost 600 yards. It's a combination of aggressive play calling and the opposing defense not showing up.

It was "that" kind of a game. A lot of people are saying the Ds sucked, not too sure about hat. They did give up a lot of points, but both Os were on fire. Hard to stop that.

After the excitement, we'll see how this Superbowl "ranks" with the others in the next few weeks. I think it will rank very high. Lots of drama, constant action. big historic type plays and coaching decisions.
