I'm pretty sure if the people who did these things had "I'm going to r*pe you later tonight" on their forehead, then these things wouldn't happen in the first place.

You cant predict this if there are no priors for this type of crime. Weed and guns should not be disqualifies. How they guns are used however can be but thats a different subject.

All you can do is hope the right people are in place to handle allegations properly. IMO that does not mean punishment as soon as there is a #metoo post. Any allegation needs to be investigated by real police. The name of the accused should also be kept out of the media until there is at least evidence to bring charges.

So why wasn’t Azeem Victor kicked off the team after his first offense if Petersen has a one strike and you are out policy? Where were the coaches to tell him not to drink and drive? Did someone get fired for not directing him properly?
