That's great but these many investigations need to link these two otherwise its pure conjecture on the part of someone who could be viewed as having an axe to grind.

*Before people jump all over this comment, I am in no way shape or form defending either Dantonio or Izzo. If they are guilty then they deserve consequences.

Instead of choosing an interim president with no ties to the University who would be able to take an unbiased look at policy and lead the University out of it, they decided to try and name Engler (Michigan's former governor) to be interim president. The problem is, he has a long and controversial past filled with issues himself. So now the Faculty are threatening a no-confidence vote if he's actually hired:
