Contract-year RB Le'Veon Bell says he will consider sitting out the 2018 season or retiring if franchise tagged for the second-consecutive year.

"I hope it doesn't come to that, but I would definitely consider it," Bell said Thursday. Asked what he wants the Steelers to do this offseason, Bell said he wants to be properly valued. "Just get the numbers straight, exactly where we want them," Bell said. "I know what I do and what I bring to the table. I'm not going out here getting the ball 400 times if I'm not getting what I feel I'm valued at." It's a more than fair point. Bell made $12.1 million under the tag in 2017. That number would be roughly $14.5 million for 2018, Bell's age-26 campaign. :suds:

...and that right there, in a nutshell, is why I can't trust Pitt against Pats in a couple of weeks. One team concentrates on team/winning Super Bowls/etc.......and the other? Threatening holdouts for more cash.....and making rap albums and such.

Tough to get full value when you've missed 19 games in 5 years can't see anyway he stats healthier from 26-30 than he has from 21-25. If you miss 25% of your team's games you can't expect them to pay you like you're gonna play 16 a season

Lots of supposed controversy brewing in AFC first seeds leading into the Divisional games. Pats with the coaching stuff, supposed RK-BB-TB drift; Steelers with a malcontent key player. Meanwhile, Jax and Tenn wait in bemusement.

He still will perform and not hold out against the Patriots if they tag him and these two meet again

Luckily for Pitt and NE they are just way better so it won't much matter this week

Can't believe he quickly escalated from 'maybe holding out' to 'being a malcontent' within this thread. LOL. Patriot fans are a bunch of drama queens.

Aaron Hernnandez, when he wasn't on the playing field, was participating in organized crime and masterminding gangland-style executions, but OMG! a Steeler player performed some rap music!

Tom Brady crying about Randy moss messing up his hair and Giselle throwing verbal haymakers at Wes Welker but, OMG! Le'Veon Bell wants a raise.

Gronkowski getting falling down sloppy assed drunk and dancing on tables with hookers and p o r n queens but, OMG! the Steelers something something something.

You Patriot fans are a bunch of drama queens.

Steelers have a top 10 O-Line, a HOF QB, and the #1 WR in the NFL.

Bell is a complete fag and douche nozzle. He'll never get the money he wants. I say let him retire and do his stupid kneeling or something at home.

"The $20M man will pass, the $20M man will pass, the NFL didn't accept me, kneel... KNEEEL!" (Ford, Harrison - a fucking interpretation you non moving going fucks).

I thought it'd be the rapidly aging and deteriorating Big Ben
