Every team is affected in the offseason. Some, if not all, lose key players. Some are bringing in incredible talent. Some got new coaches. Some had a coach a few years and will this will be the year the program is established. Some had many key players that are young and should be that much better.

How is your favorite team going to be affected?

Reload I hope. LB corp needs to have more depth, M. Fitzpatrick, will he stay or will he go? Lots of talent on the team. Kirby is getting in our back pocket a little.

Offensively, it depends on the play calling. They should have the talent (especially in the OL) to have a strong offense. Stanley has proven to be a solid QB, potentially great. RBs are looking deep and under-the-radar. The WRs look good, not great. The one I know is back and hopefully has a better season. He was the "heart" award for the team. Iowa's TEs are always good.

Defensively will look a lot defense. Pass coverage will improve a lot during the season. Might be a slow start, as they have benefited with great CBs the past few seasons. LB is the big question mark. Iowa always seems to have a solid LB. Not all are great, but I don't really remember Iowa having bad LB corp. Iowa's DL will still be young, but are experienced and should be strong.

I think Iowa's offense will be much better. I think the defense will be stronger overall, but a good coach will still find the flaws. They could be 10+ win team. I can also see another 7-5 team as well.

A lot of it depends on the outcome of the game tomorrow night.

We're gonna lose a lot of defensive players to the draft and graduation, but there's a lot of talent waiting behind them that has impressed when they got opportunities this season.

Chubb and Michel will be gone, but honestly I think true freshman, D'Andre Swift is the best RB on the team, and we have the first and third RBs in the country coming in as well.

I expect Fromm to continue to work hard and improve, and I expect next season's O-line to be the best o-line we've had in years. Ben Cleveland and Andrew Thomas with a full year of experience and the last two classes have been loaded with o-line talent.

For next season, expect the defense to take a step back early before the new starters gel, but I expect the offense to improve and be more balanced next season.

No way Fitzpatrick stays. He'll be one of the first DB's taken. I will be jaw dropping shocked if he stays.

We could potentially lose Levi Wallace, Tony Brown, Ronnie Harrison, Hootie Jones and Anthony Averett out of the defensive backfield too...will be a weakness for spring.

I feel good about the depth at Linebacker and we have some DL talent on board, but the secondary is weak.

On offense, the OL looks like it will need some patching up.

I feel like we are as deep as we've ever been at the skill positions, just need a few of the young WR to step up. RB might be rough at the start in Scarborough comes out...but I think he stays.

Losing JK Scott hurts on special teams.

Nothing much happening at Nebraska.

I think we hired a new coach or two.

The players will hit the books until Spring Workouts while continuing our regimented conditioning routine. Our early enrollees will join all team functions getting a leg up on the other freshmen. The coaching staff will implement the new defense and craft the offense around Kyler Murray.

See yall next year.

They don't have to play at Iowa in the off season so things are looking good so far.

Damn Nickle, you just ghosted in and dropped a post like it was 2015...

Minkah is gone like yesterday.

Alabama will have a better class next year than Georgia will.

Yall have some catching to do then.

And a lower average than Alabama.

But it's Jan and the current cycle isn't even over yet. Rankings mean nothing.

Maybe in your mind he is. Harbaugh could have 2-3 more 8 win seasons in a row before that would be true.
