Why did 11 - 1 Alabama get picked over 12 - 1 Wisconsin?

Thank you for confirming everything I’ve said — when asked to bold what he has won. You list an individual game.

0 division titles
0 bowl game wins
0 conference titles

So beating Ohio St is no longer important to Michigan fans?

2 different beasts. One hasn't mastered the college coaching thing yet.

Agree — you’d think for a coach who wants a ‘level playing field’ he would want to coach in the NFL. After two years Saban realized that’s the last thing he wanted and went back his the SEC

Slow down dude. You've never even seen Alabama play. You're a couch potato sitting in Arizona who has SEC network and plays on the computer all day.
Where I'm from .lol

Weird, I could have swore I just watched like 12 different games in the past 4 months.

Yep, sure did.

It is important, but the guy I consider the best coach in CFB is now at OSU. Urban Meyer has shown he can win anywhere he goes, unlike Saban. He went undefeated at Utah. He won N.C. at Florida. He won a N.C. at OSU.

Didn’t matter if he were in the South, West or Midwest — he wins. Saban can’t say that. He failed in the B1G and flopped in the NFL. BUT he is a great coach........in the SEC

Harbaugh is Urban's bitch?

So you have justified the reasons you lose to Ohio St and are ok with it.

I guess Harbaugh should call Ferentz for tips.

Suddenly, this guy doesn't seem quite as stupid.

Btw, why is it that Urban is no longer at Florida? I feel like I remember something happening, but I smoke so much weed I forgot.

Is this the same real players who had to reschedule a cupcake OOC to get to .500 this year?

Jimbo is a smart man. He got offered a better job and he jumped at it.

Yep...same one. You see we get to play 12 games like everybody else.
We also were worried about protecting two streaks.

One is most consecutive Bowls. We did that and now we have hit 36 in a row. That's the
longest such streak in history.

The other is consecutive winning seasons. We need to win our bowl to have 41 straight.

How are all the blue bloods doing with those streaks?

Keep telling yourself that. You may believe it at some point. I don’t blame you though — if my coach moved on to bigger and better things, I’d be bitter too.

Your coaches don't have a chance to move on to bigger and better things. You keep firing
your coaches because they are all inept.

Because he moved on to a better program? You see if a coach is truly great, they will win anywhere they go. Meyer has done that. Saban has not.

Yea, you got me there. But even UM isn’t stopping to the level of hiring Oregon retreads. Oregon brings on the coaches we fire.

The crazy thing is — FSU fans are happy about it.

Don’t need to — Saban’s big accomplishment after 5 years at MSU was winning 9 games once. Congrats — you are now the same as George Perles and less than Mike Dantonio.

He went to the NFL, the pinnacle of coaching, the ultimate level playing field and he realized almost immediately the LAST THING he wants is a level playing field. So he jumped back to his safe zone in the SEC.

Meyer has won at Utah, won at Florida and won at OSU. That is three different programs in three different parts of the US and three different conferences.

That is more impressive as a coach. That means he doesn’t need built in advantages to win. Saban can’t say that.

Meyer is not the best CFB coach in the country, Nick Saban is. Have you noticed you're the only person in the CFB threads that tries to diminish his coaching career by focusing on everything he did outside of the SEC? Nobody has or will agree w/ what you're trying to say.

 It's fun watching you try to tap dance around your fantasy narrative.

Of course, the real reason Urban is no longer in the SEC is because Saban flat ran his ass out of it. Which is something he'll never have to worry about in the Big10 because Michigan fans are fine with losing to Ohio St year after year and make posts like yours actually going to extreme lengths to praise Ohio St.

Are you really an Ohio St fan who pretends to be a Michigan fan to make them look bad? If so, you do a fucking awesome job.

As for Urban/Ohio St and such - are you aware of the actual recruiting rankings? Ohio St is the school that recruits on the same level as Alabama/Saban. I mean yeah you can pretend there is a huge difference between "#1 and #2" rankings, but in the raw numbers it's damn near equal. There are years when Ohio St has the higher average which is sometimes more important.

Maybe your "it's hard to recruit in the Big10" narrative is bullshit. Especially since if you want to talk about recruiting ranks and performance, I doubt there is any team in college football that under achieves their recruiting ranks than Michigan.

Saban is a great coach, when he can be in the top recruiting footprint and has, by far, the most talent. Which is why I continue to say — great coach........ in the SEC.

If you have any number of coaches the #1 recruiting class 10 years in a row, they’d win NC’s too. Take that away from Saban — he is 49-42 with 0 conference titles, 0 division titles, 0 10 win seasons, 0-3 in bowl games losing by an average of 21 ppg and 0 playoff appearances.

So wait, the MAC is a great recruiting footprint...Saban did more at Toledo than Harbaugh has done anywhere except San Diego, but, let's get real, the Mississippi Juco league is more competitive than the Patriot League.

LOL, Coach Buddy from Last Chance U has had more success than Jimmy Jam...without the gross sleepovers, and he is more entertaining.

So Saban won a BCS bowl and finished top 5 in the country in the MAC? I didn’t know that?

It is PRICELESS, you are trying to talk him up by using the MAC, when he coached 5 years in the B1G and did nothing. Got blown out in 3 bowl games. No conference titles. Nothing. Now go look what the guy he took over for at MSU and what he did in his first 5 years or what Dantonio did in his first 5 years.

Saban is a great coach when he has the advantages the SEC provides. That is exactly why he jumped at the chance to go back when he got to see what a level playing looked like in the NFL.

It isnt a bad thing. But you give any number of coaches the #1 draft class for a decade straight and you’d get the same results. It is why he will never leave the SEC

Here's more proof that Bama football (not just Nick Saban) have been cheating CFB for decades now. Bear Bryant's 1 year @ Maryland he didn't even go to a bowl game. While he was @ Kentucky he failed to win a National title. Texas A & M? Only made it 1 bowl game, and lost. But look what happened when he got to Tuscaloosa! He won a National title in his 3rd year. So I'm only gonna focus on what Bear did @ his 1st three coaching stops & say he's vastly overrated.
