Just looked up Wentz stats for the first time:

10th in YPA coming into today

28:5

104

Good, but MVP? Um, ok. Seems to me Brady is leading this thing by a mile, but I could be missing something.

YPA? How about the 15 other stats he’s #1 in.

I actually do like the Wilson for MVP argument just because the Seahawks are not far off from the Russell Wilson and friends at this point. Tom Brady, Wentz, and Smith (lol) all have oodles of help offensively.

I'm just shocked that the thread was created by a Dallas fan

Brady is 1, Wentz is 2. It's the end of the season and Brady had his really bad game (KC) early. Wentz had his late. Still 4 games to get *everything* back.

Wentz has been super impressive this year. He had a couple of jaw dropping throws tonight.

But I think the MVP will come down to Brady and Wilson.

One subpar game doesn't mean someone isn't very good just as a great game doesn't mean a guy is amazing . Wentz has been very good against a mostly awful schedule but props to him and Philly for winning the games they should. That's the difference between 13-3 and 10-6 for good teams . The outcome wasn't surprising . The Eagles are 3-2 vs teams .500 or better and 7-0 vs everyone else . 2 of those 3 "good" wins came vs 6-6 teams . They are a solid team but not elite . NFC is wide open

hahahaha, you said Wentz was the MVP after week three of the season.

hahahahahah Derpa derp

Unless I am really missing something- the stats are pretty weak for a traditional MVP campaign. Still- really impressive. It'd be one of the weaker MVP seasons out there if he won it. At least since the Palmer/Cam wackiness. Wentz looks better on the eyetest than he does on the statsheet in an MVP race. Take that for what you will. This isn't college so I tend to take the stats more seriously.

I guess it appears the Eagles are the Badgers of the NFL

By a mile? That's kind of an exaggeration. As long as Wentz continues to play well he'll be in the hunt but I do agree Brady is the lead dog in the race at this point.

Well, that was his worst game of the year. But I think saying he is not an MVP candidate based on his worst game is a little silly. Let's see how he responds before writing him off.

I think a case can definitely be made for Wilson though. The guy is playing at an incredible level. He made plays last night no other QB in the NFL makes. The Eagles pass rush gets to almost everyone, but they were running around frustrated all night due to Wilson.
