imo, our o-line will be the largest problem in the transition. just a bunch of softies right now.
It's a shame they couldn't coach heart to the Huskers Offensive line these past few Falls. I watched the Wisky v Minny game and man did Wisky's line fire off the ball and smack pads. Wisconsin will give Ohio State all they can handle.

TL will go pro. probably like 5th or 6th round pick, with his talent i can't see someone not taking a shot at him. he did make some dumb decisions but a lot of blame for INTs goes on the o-line. i think NFL coaches will think they can mold him into a decent player. looks at some of the crappy QBs in the league now.

I disagree. This is a loaded draft class for QBs if all commit to draft. Next year may be better. There was only 10 QBs taken last year with the last being Chad Kelly. And that was a 'down year'. Not sure TL would have even cracked last years draft.

Purely guessing at how Frost coaches but Chip Kelly wanted a QB who could throw accurately and quickly. He said running was a bonus. Perfect example was Nick Foles winning job over Vick. TL could play very well in spread offense with some easier throws. Just have to present the run every now and again to make them defend it. I have no clue whether Frost holds same principles.

This is the one subject that nobody has really brought up yet.

If Frost indeed is the next coach at Nebraska, what will he do about implementing his Offense given the QB’s he has to work with.

He almost has to have transfers in mind......Tanner Lee is not going to run any option zone read shit.

call me crazy but I really like Gebbia in Frost's offense.

It now looks like the Keyshawn's have change their tune. Sounds like Jr. will be back in January, maybe they know something about the next coach(s). I have a feeling that Donte & Keith Williams will be back in some aspect too.

“Scott Frost is my boy,” Keyshawn Johnson said. “I don’t think people even understand — I played with Frosty. I know Frosty. We know each other. This is not — I didn’t know Bo Pelini. I had no relationship with Bo Pelini whatsoever, at all, period. But I know Scott Frost. I have a relationship with Scott Frost, OK? That’s what it is.

“I also have relationships with Donte Williams. I also have relationships with Keith Williams. And my son loves Nebraska. He loves the fan base. And I enjoy the fan base. I’ve met with [university chancellor Ronnie] Green and his wife before — we’ve had conversations with them before.

Keyshawn Johnson: My son's Nebraska plan is 'going back to Lincoln, Nebraska, as of now'

OH dear lord? He's saying SF to FSU? PuuuuuhhhhhhLEASE!!!! Yeah, he can DIAF.

ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit on Scott Frost to Nebraska: Not so fast, my friend

Not sure I've ever seen Herbstreit right about anything, other than telling everybody what has ALREADY happened. That's the nice thing about his job. He gets to pimp new 'known' information (game results, rankings, etc) as if it's expert opinion, yet not be held accountable for the thousands of times he's been wrong in previous weeks. Every CFP Top 4 would have never changed from week one through week 14 if Herbstreit were ever right. In his world the Top 4 will not lose through the rest of the season, until they do. The next week the committee will give him a new Top 4 to pimp as his own personal favorites.

To his point on Fla St landing Frost. If Frost had any desire to reap the benefits of what the state of Florida has to offer, he'd be in Gainesville (not Tallahassee) this Sunday. There are other schools that have warmth and are recruiting hotbeds. UCLA, Arizona St, Texas A&M. They didn't even throw their hats in the ring.
Why would that be?

Are these guy’s fucking actually retarded? Beyond the fact that SF is entered into a contract already with UNL, were these people living in a cave during the 90’s? FL FSU Miami were our arch enemies during those days. So it makes so much sense he would want to run right over there and beg them to be the new coach.
So far SF was supposed to announce by the end of the day he was the bran new coach of Tennessee, UCLA, oregon, asu, ass to mouth, Florida, and now FSU. Kill yourself

Most of the discussion of Frost potentially going elsewhere is to get clicks and views.

With that said, I’m still not cashing this check until I hear an announcement. It’s a really strange werld we live in and people do weird things, so there is a chance Frost could have a brain fart like he did as a Senior in high school.....this one would probably ruin his career though whereas he was able to jump ship and correct his decision back then.

Frost's players make plays. It's not that their talent is far greater than others (a la Suh, Emeer, etc), it's that the team is on the same page. The pieces of the puzzle are put in place and the players buy into their roles in that puzzle.
Bo pleeny used to complain about his players not 'executing'. He was right in that, but it's his and his staffs responsibility to put the puzzle together and get the players to understand their individual roles. If everybody is where they're supposed to be on a given play there is always someone there to make a play.

Explain plz.

I think he'll have a good career wherever he ends up. He probably has a tougher career at Nebraska than any of those other places he's been mentioned in.

He would be blacklisted at the Neb state line forever if he rescinded at this point

Pshhh.

You telling me if he went to one of those other places and got them consistent NY6 bowls and occasional CFP's, and Nebraska's next corch turns out to be another dud (3-4 yrs), that he wouldn't be welcomed back?

That is a laugher.

Now if he goes to a different program and ends up a (6-6), (7-5), (8-4) coach, then I'd agree he probably wouldn't be welcomed back.

That’s exactly what I’m telling you, twenty years later there’s still people that don’t like him over the Stanford bit, fans and players both. How is that funny

I don't see it. I've never personally seen it since 1997 either. They'll get over it with another whif coach and Frost is still having success elsewhere.
Anybody with that mindset should be forced to bow to him at the state line if the above scenario were to take place.
