Wouldn’t he stay here and let his staff coach the bowl game?

Depends which bowl game IMO.
If they don't win the AAC CCG then they won't be the G5 rep to the NY6. Mid-Major bowl tie-ins below that aren't anything. If UCF loses Saturday and gets relegated to the shit bowl then I could see him getting himself and staff here pronto.

Well I just think similar to what @Big_Red_Marine said. Frost has a loyalty to his guys and by just leaving without coaching the bowl that might bring that into question. So as RA said it kinda depends on the bowl and maybe depends on who UCF hires.

If he's going to coach through to the bowl game, that agreement has already been made between him, UCF, AND Nebraska. IDGAF about UCF, either, but I'm sure he has some recruits or even players currently on the team he'd like to poach.... Like that dude with one arm.... I'm sure he's as good as any of our current defenders HAHA!

No link just a "gut feeling" it makes a lot of sense from many points of view. Respect to Frost and his players, allows frost to tell them first after the game spend the day/night celebrating get things in order and be here monday when there is no other competing news. It could be sunday but would compete with CFP ranking news and CCG news and NFL news.

It won't be news on Monday either. Just a verification. Pretty sure most already assume it.

He has two arms. Only one hand and yes, he is better than anyone on our defense. Projected mid round draft pick.

This is the one subject that nobody has really brought up yet.

If Frost indeed is the next coach at Nebraska, what will he do about implementing his Offense given the QB’s he has to work with.

He almost has to have transfers in mind......Tanner Lee is not going to run any option zone read shit.

I hope we would have some better options than Wilson, iirc he couldn’t crack the 3 deep at Oregon and ran off to juco, his numbers weren’t that great for winning whatever accolade last year at JC

TL will go pro. probably like 5th or 6th round pick, with his talent i can't see someone not taking a shot at him. he did make some dumb decisions but a lot of blame for INTs goes on the o-line. i think NFL coaches will think they can mold him into a decent player. looks at some of the crappy QBs in the league now.

people forget both POB and TG ran the ball in their HS days.
POB Sr year: Passing: 228/307 for 2895yds, 32TD/7INTs; Rushing: 110 carries 626 yds and 8TDs
TG Sr Year: 341/485 for 5338yds, 61TD/11INTs; Rushing: 77 carries 293 yds and 10TDs

POB seems slower than TG, you aren't going to get 70 yd break away runs from them. As long as they can make the right read and when keeping it can scoot around the end or up the middle for 4-5 yd gains, it will keep the defense honest and keep the chains a moving.

imo, our o-line will be the largest problem in the transition. just a bunch of softies right now.

and for statistal comparison:

TA in HS: Passing: 106/183 for 1801yds, 28TD/? (website i looked at gave 148)INTs; Rushing: 153 carries 1289 yds and 16TDs
Wilson in HS: website i used for others only had 1 game. found on Oregon's summary from him in 2016 that his SR was 154/281 for 2406yds, 24TDs/?INTs; Rushing: 709 and 11TDs.

JUCO dual threats.
Terry Wilson comes to mind.
