Here’s a question:

If Michigan wins their next two games, and then loses a rematch to Wisconsin in the CCG, could Wisconsin still make the playoff at 12-1? What else would need to happen?

I know everyone’s been saying that Wisconsin can’t take a loss, but they would be avenging that loss against what is almost certainly a top 10 Michigan team at that point. IMO they’d still be ahead of the PAC-12 champ and anyone outside of the P5 conferences, and I really don’t think a second SEC, B12 or ACC team would be in ahead of a one loss B1G champ.
You would have to blow us completely out in the CCG 2014 style.

Why do you have a picture of Richard Dreyfus as an avi? And who the fuck is he talking to?
It's me trying to hide the pain of rooting for Detroit area teams. But real talk it's just some random meme of some old guy.

Any Badger fans have a recommendation for a pregame bar, or know where Gameday is setting up?

I have no idea where Gameday can even set up now that Fox has made this an 11:00 AM game.

I can't imagine they can be outside the stadium, as they won't want that many people on the Civil War camp area. They aren't gonna be inside the stadium since it is a Fox broadcast. They only other places they've gone are outside the Kohl Center and on Bascom Hill, but I can't imagine they'll have it a ten minute walk away from the stadium when kickoff is right after the broadcast.

I'm beyond pissed at Fox, by the way. I'm flying across the country during kickoff, but felt comfy booking it because I was sure this would be a 2:30 or night game. Whoops!

Michigan winning out doesn't guarantee them a spot in the championship game. They also need both MSU and Penn State to lose one of their last two games and they play Nebraska maryland and rutgers between the two.

GameDay usually sets up on Bascom Hill (campus, no bars).

Bar recommendations depend on how early you wanna start and whether you want to be on State Street or by the stadium. You can walk from one to the other, if you’re not a fatass (it’s about a mile). There will be a tailgate by the stadium, but way more bars on and around State Street.

Thanks for the tips. The more I read reviews on gameday the less I want to go.Im 42, I don't need to be packed like a sardine with a bunch of involent college kids.
I've been there twice for Michigan games but it's been 8 years since they have played there I can't remember where or what was the hot spots

Anyone up for an Avi bet on Stavibrook's total turnovers? I'll go with 3 or more TO's.

I think Wisconsin can win by 10 points. Michigan has improved since they changed QB's, but I can't see them being able to avoid at least 2-3 td's by Wisconsin. That will be enough to beat Michigan by 7-10 points.

I got that. Av for 1 week?

Yes no sexual references or swear words. I win if Hornibrook has three or more TO's vs Michigan this week and you win if he has 2 or less. Nobody wins if he's injured unless he already has 3 or more TO's.

My take on the game, our defense matches up perfectly with an offense like Wisconsin so if we can make Hornibrook handle the ball more than usual it keeps us in it. The problem is I have no idea where we get points on offense. Had this marked as a loss before the season and am not changing that. Just don't expect a walk in the park like Iowa

That might be a very very very hard sell, actually. A two loss Michigan win isn't as valuable as a two loss Ohio State win, and especially not if you have to trade a home loss to get it. We'd be ahead of the Pac-12 and the non P5, but you leave a lot of ways for things to go wrong. Clemson with a narrow win over undefeated Miami would doom us. Georgia with a narrow win over an undefeated Alabama would doom us. Auburn narrowly beating Alabama in the Iron Bowl and then beating Georgia would probably doom us. I'm not sure we could afford a loss to Michigan even if we end up beating a top 5 Ohio State in the CCG anyway.
