There is no hiding the offensive line issues the past 4 season and how they continue to get worse every year. Ok so the game against the Giants they didn't look to bad but they also did not look good ...not at all. Baldwin pushed Cable out of the way because? Lack of Respect and i feel this is a growing trend. They made all nicey nicey for the reporters but lets really look at this. Baldwin wasn't even LOOKING at Cable and grabbed on to his man Russell to tell him get these guys going because why? THEY DON'T THINK CABLE CAN! and he ( Baldwin ) didn't even LOOK at Cable because there is no respect there. I was expecting Cable to throw ( Another ) punch lmao. Look at the look on Cables face when that happened. What a cry baby, how can he hold the respect of anyone on that team LMAO!

Cable has lost the respect of the players ( i believe he lost it long ago ) Time to move on and replace his ineffective ass ASAP! If that means during THIS season then YES because losing him will not HURT this offense any worse than it is now and it might light a fire on these guys ass because they don't respect him anyway!

Oh and Kris Richard, my eye's are starting to focus on you and your lackluster pressure packages....Does he even have pressure packages lol Lets not forget that one of the teams they talk about having a WORSE oline than Seattle was the Giant's. Should i focus on Him or look at Bennett who once again was Invisible. (Overrated bag of shit)

But the good news is WE WON! lol The Rams won also in London against a team that is better than the Giants, 33-0.

Seattles players are out of control. No respect for the coaching staff or its authority.

Cable hasn't earned any respect. But of course you wouldn't know that being a Pats fan.

I think the whole take on this is being looked at wrong. We only got a glimpse of Baldwin pushing Cable but I think Baldwin was actually chewing ass on everybody in the offense. The line taking stupid penalties, Graham dropping balls, Rawls not running the screen right and then flat out dropping the next one. And I think Doug was showing his frustration more than anything and I don't blame him. They were marching the ball down the field all day on the Giants D and there was no reason for the Hawks not to be up by 2 TD's at halftime.
As for the line, they were slightly better yesterday but Cable is basically useless and a lame duck on the coaching staff right now. He will likely stay for the season but he has to be done at seasons end, regardless of what happens going forward. I think it's time for Bevell to move on as well.

They had ONLY 2 drives OVER 50 yards in the game, that's not marching up and down the field and Punted 5 times. Their best drive came away with 0 points. TD's came on drives of 54, 38 and 50 yards. 3rd down's they were 6-13 not good enough not even close. This is the big kicker 15 penalties for 110 yards.

Ok i get it, we had some big drops ( again, whats new ) but it is what it is and lets not forget how many of the people on here saying how GREAT the Titans were. Yeah not so much.

Plays-Yards-Result
6-17 Punt
16-89 Downs
1-5 TO
11-33 Punt
8-49 FG
3-7 Punt
4-54 TD
4-16 Punt
5-19 Punt
1-38 TD
12-50 TD

6-13 on 3rd would rank them 3rd best in the NFL. What exactly are you expecting on 3rd down?

Players need to play. Coaches need to coach. Issues bw the two should be handled behind close doors. You respect, at a minimum, the position not the person.

I read the article. The head coach told cable to go talk to the offense. He told him what to tell them. While he was doing that Baldwin disrespected him and didn't allow him to do his job. This is what happens when players like Sherman are allowed to openly question the head coach on the sidelines.

Baldwin apologized and specifically said that the fault was with the players, not the coaches. Both Cable and Carroll consider this a minor issue.

Not sure how the Sherman outburst is related to this. Baldwin was trying to get Wilson to speak the offense. He's throwing a tantrum.

And 425 yards a game would be #1 in the NFL.

a couple weeks ago Yards didn't matter now they do? 24 points and 425 yards? yeah not good. Lets not forget that the Hawks were on a pace to have 100 plus plays ( finished with 71 ) after the first half. They had 52 plays in the First Half and 3 points ( 28 in the 2nd half ). Ignoring the penalties is foolish this team can't get out of it's own way more often than not. you can take that 425-110 for a real number of 315 yards because 110 of them they got twice. ok some of those were on the defense but i think you get what i am saying.

You going to ignore the fact they are 23rd in the NFL in redzone scoring at 47% HELL in 2008 they were at 50%, you remember that 4-12 team right? You want to be at 60% at least.

I swear you all would polish a turd and think it looks beautiful LMAO! To many of you settle for a polished turd. That's not the 12th man way! We are the greatest fans in the NFL we should expect and DEMAND better from our team.

Russell was talking to the guys and Cable interrupted him, Baldwin wanted Russell to speak and thought it was better for him to speak ( it is ). Why does he feel this way? Because trust me when i say this but i believe that Cable has lost the respect of the players . Pete Carroll BTW has not, this team LOVES Pete Carroll they just are getting fed up with Cables BS and Bevells ( Sherman's outburst ) Play calling.

I am Fine with Bevell, the guy has did enough with no help up front at all on the line for most seasons. Sooner or later it will ( horrid blocking ) effect your Offense.

What are you smoking?

First off..

2008 NFL Team Downs Stats - National Football League - ESPN

The Seahawks had a 31% third down efficiency in 2008, good for 30th in the league.

In the last 10 years there have been all of ZERO teams to have a 60% third down efficiency. There have been TWO teams to surpass 50%.

If you establish absurd requirements you will always be disappointed.

The offense played well yesterday. EXCEPT for drops and bad penalties. If we keep dropping 5 balls a game then this team isn't going to do anything in the playoffs. But there is no reason to believe that it will.

Was yesterday perfect? Far from it. But that game was never in doubt in my mind.

And i didn't say i expect 60% EVERY DAMN GAME lol way to blindfold yourself. But against a 1-5 team yes i expect 60% when they are giving up over 40%

Oh you shifted from third down efficiency to Red Zone percentage. I misread that.

All good, i also want you to understand i am VERY happy The Hawks won. I am very happy that they looked better but my god they shot themselves in the foot OVER AND OVER in that game and at one point it looked like they were going to be tied going into the 4th quarter. Tied to the Giants who have people off the street playing WR. Just like the 2008 Seahawks, remember that? But the hawks lost 4 or 5 WR that season for the WHOLE season in like the first 5 games not just their top 2.

Gotta wade through a bunch of hyperbole here, but the statement was NEVER "yards don't matter." It was yards don't win games. The point being made on yesterday's game is the offense was moving the ball. They also converted 3rd downs at a rate that is akin to playing winning football. Anyone with a "sound brain" should understand that. You're too consumed in being a blowhard to be consistent with your own narrative.

If Jimmy catches the footballs that hit him in the belly button, we wouldn't be having any issues with TD % in that game.

it wasn't about TD% in this game it's about TD% in all our games total this year. It's BAD.
