Bye week over, Michigan looking pedestrian, night game whiteout, probably an all time record crowd (already calling for 110k) I am feeling good about this one.

Defense needs to pressure them. McSorely needs to relax and avoid turning the ball over. We have seen him come out way to hyped and the mistakes he makes and now with 110K strong at night I worry he will make even more mistakes. If he is on it takes the pressure off Barkley facing 11 in the box.

i think UM plays us straight up and isn't just selling out to stop the run like teams with lesser talent have. Could open things up for Barkley. I see us going a little more up temp and stretching their D side to side ealry because they don't have much depth. think it stays close early, but our speed and skill pulls away late....really think joeMo opens up the O again this week, we have been sitting on a lot of the playbook we saw last year. 88 has a ball game Saturday

I see your predictions being truthful and hope they are wrong. What I write next isn't against you. Barkley can't carry this team and our opponents are stacking the box on him. McSorely needs to be more accurate in the beginning of the games so we can prevent this from happening. Davis needs to get his shit together or we need to find a replacement. One of these games will come down to FG's and we might need every pt. Lastly so glad Julius will attend his first game since taking a break from football and truly hope he gets the help he needs. He was one of my favorite players to watch.

I'm a pessimist while @linebackeru is a optimist. If we are wrong then we are happy because PSU did better then we thought. The last few years under Franklin I've been happy I've been wrong on numerous occasions. Now I don't feel we are really the 2nd best team in the nation. We haven't played anyone that good yet. We have struggled a little when teams focused heavily on Barkley. Our kicking game FG's not KO have been a huge concern. I worry that our defense might be overrated and once they play some good offensive teams they might struggle. Franklins play calling and time management concerns still scare me. However I am happily surprised how well we have done so far and if we continued to improve each week then we should make the playoffs. However I feel the committee and the hated ESPN is hoping we lose especially OSU or in championship game so they don't have to worry about us making the playoffs. Last year we got screwed over by the committee and we got that in our back pocket if it's down to us or another team to make the final 4. I think in that case they will feel obligated to put us in because of that crap from last year. If they left us out again they would be under fire. The End. (Sorry for mistakes I'm on my phone)

Curious who you feel is better and why....outside of Bama of course?? we are a complete team, explosive O, great D and special teams is now a strength. Only weak spot is FG kicking, which could bite us in the ass. That said, we are as good as anyone not named Bama right now.

ND, Miami?? GTFO. OU and Clemson have lost to bad teams, thus putting them clearly behind us at the moment. Georgia is good, but 1 dimensional.

Ohio State will be for the B1G title if we take care of business this week. We will be fired up as well to prove we are back and deserved to be in the playoff over them last year. As long as JT barrett stays at QB, they are very beatable against teams who can stuff the run and play man to man on the outside.

We're about to see if Michigan is better or not and frankly their defense has me worried that our "explosive" offense will be kept under close wraps turning this into a defense slug fest. A good solid defense with a solid secondary can rely on man-to-man coverage and rush everyone else keeping us stifled. If they have to rely on zone coverage then I'm not too worried as long as McSorely finds his accuracy early.

Ohio State and Clemson? a team who got smoked at home by only good team they've played and a team who lost to Syracuse...yeah the same Syracue that lost to MTSU??

If UM wants to play Man to Man all day and walk safeties upm I welcome it, you'll see the long ball come back and Gesecki will get double digit catches.

Bigger question should be how is Jimmy Krack korn going to play against our D....I'll take Trace every day in that matchup....could UM win, yeah, not like they have a bunch of scrubs.....should PSU win? Yeah, we are better in more s;ots than UM this year and much deeper
