I have to say, the Rams offense doesn't look like it's gonna let up anytime soon. I mean damn near 40 PPG? Run defense needs to get better but I mean damn. Surprise of the year in my opinion.

Kudos to the Oline, this is the first really good game they had run blocking, hopefully just the first of many to come! They have only allowed 4 sacks ( I think 1 was given up by Robinson, and he doesn't even play for us anymore, just shows how bad he is and was)
having protection for Goff has helped the running game, having Gurley catches passes also helps and it's nice to see us throw the ball downfield 10-15 yards on 3rd and 10 instead of throwing 5 yards and "hoping" the receiver can get the 1st down!

Didn't take McSnead long to add Thomas to the roster at the expense of yet another defensive back. This time it was Maurice Alexander because Cody Davis and John Johnson performed so well (each with an INT) and coupled with the fact that Alexander did not exorcise himself from being a Fisher guy and ended up in the McVay and Phillips doghouse that Alexander was sent packing. I hope they know what they are doing because we are getting a bit thin in the DBs department.

Rams Waive Alexander, Add Thomas to Roster

Saints trade Adrian Peterson to Cardinals for conditional draft pick

I was thinking the Rams should have done this. For a 4th rounder? Sure 3rd rounder? ???

We need a heavy dose at RB to help Goff and those WRs. Gurley can't do it alone
I see your point, but wasn't the problem in New Orleans about AD wanting to be the feature back?

I think they (NO) did the future HOFer right by sending him to a team that will use him that way. Too bad it had to be in the NFC West.

I'm sure he will do his share of damage in our Division, let's all hope it's primarily to Seattle and San Francisco.

Cards did that trade for a conditional 6th rounder. Even that would be a waste IMO. Peterson is done. I'd much rather roll with Gurley/Brown/Davis.

I don't think he's the AP we use to know but I think he's better than Brown. Cards got Oline issues

I think what vita said about him having a role is pretty important. New Orleans was 3 deep at RB tho. I think he'd be ok behind Gurley and we could run more.

If Gurley has any injuries I think we are in big trouble

I kind of like it that he is frustrated and wants to be more involved in the offense. He will be once Goff really begins to feel like his protection will hold for the deep pass Watkins will be the target more and more. I didn't see the play where is stopped short but on the radio it sounded like he blew it. That was on him and he should be frustrated with himself for that play.

Rams LB Alec Ogletree agrees to 4-year contract extension http://es.pn/2yeWM4V
via @ESPN App http://es.pn/app

How about we get Donald a deal now, huh??? Jeez.... oh, and right now, Tree is ranked 81st out of 87 qualified NFL LB's....
I can't imagine him being too happy to see Tree getting an extension but yet he still has yet to receive one or even come close to terms with one. Hopefully this offseason we can get rid of some deadweight *cough* Tayvon Austin *cough* to make room under the cap for him.

After seeing Tree's arm tackle on Zeke at the Cowboy game, I can't say I am real excited about this. But the guy can cover TE's well and he's not bad at the LOS. Needs to get better IMO.

Remember he played OLB most of his life before going inside. My guess is we draft a beast OLB in the upcoming draft.
