@DirtDirtDirt claiming that Judge had to chase that pitch the rest of the night

2nd at-bat, his swinging strike is not close to that pitch

Red Sox are toast! Farrell should be fired... His explanation for leaving Sale is was atrocious! "In that situation we still wanted a lefty match-up" Um... He was getting shelled, shut up Farrell, go home, you're drunk!
Based on each pitcher's recent trends, I wouldn't be too upset about losing that game. The Red Sox actually did better against Verlander than I expected.

Sale got his 300 strikeout season but he also paid for it. Now he needs to change his approach so he can stay reasonably fresh in September and October. Quit chases Ks and use the defense more. Get quicker at bats.

Maybe youre not understanding the concept of "Expanding the Zone" because you were called out on a borderline pitch

many of his swinging strikes were chasing the area in which the first called strike out was called

You just had to actually watch the game

Well, nothing in sports makes sense, so maybe we beat Kluber

I dont really believe that, but i guarantee that CC is better than Gray

I was listening to Mad Dog Russo's show yesterday at lunch and he was bitching about Francona's decision to go with Bauer. Whoever he was talking to said something like, "well, this is baseball, Bauer could dominate game 1 and Kluber gets shelled in game 2."

Everyone but me seemed to bitch about it, I thought it was brilliant

If the Yankees got shut out by Kluber last night, and faced Bauer tonight, Id be feeling like "All right, that was expected"

now im like "All right, now I can go to the movies tonight"

Ill take the Gif of the actual pitch

the FoxBox showed it outside and low

And Smoltz ripped this ump apart all night, that pitch included

I just watched Judge's K in the 1st on MLB At Bat. It caught the corner. Filthy.

He expanded his zone to a foot off the plate because a pitch that was over the plate was called a strike? That makes sense.

None of his swinging strikes were remotely near the area in which the first called strikeout was called. His next two at-bats the pitches were waist high and a foot off the plate, the 3rd at bat he chased a ball in the dirt.

You are reaching.

It was definitely filthy, but below the knees

Again, the ump was all over the place for both teams, Jose Ramirez stared him down on a called strike above his shoulders

I didn't bitch about it. I was nervous, but in Tito I trust.

Oh that pitch isnt off the plate now?

And "Below the knees" is definitely borderline
It's not off the plate and you said that the box showed it low and outside. Not a single box says this is not a strike. Not one.

See Plate

See Where pitch lands in Glove

Let me know if that is "OFF THE PLATE" or "ON THE PLATE, AKA, a STRIKE"
