At this point I'm just hoping the Sox don't get swept again.

The 2015 Yankees outscored opponents by 66 runs. The 2017 Sox outscored them by 117. This Sox team has a 3.70 ERA, 2nd only to a historically good Indians staff. Don't compare us to that shitty ass Yankees team.

That ERA has a lot to do with that 60lb tall drink of water, who died to death

I think he's done a pretty damn good job, considering Mookie is the only great hitter on the team

What would I do or what will the red sox do? I would definitely fire him if they get swept again. I have no insight into what the players think of him, but I think he handled the Price/Eckersley thing poorly. I don't like the way he manages the pitchers/bullpen. Seems to have a knack for leaving guys in one batter too long.

e.g. pretty clear Carson Smith didn't have it on Saturday and should have been pulled after giving up his second hit without an out in a must win game. . .

Now will the Sox fire him? Probably not unless there is some egregious bonehead move a la Grady Little in the playoffs.

Thought he deserved it last year more than this

Last season, the Indians sweep came out of nowhere, and a case could be made the Sox entered that series the better team

I see no way they are better than Houston

I think they were, but I'm not sure that he should be blamed for that loss/sweep. I think all three of the Indians' opponents last year were better than them, they just went unconscious for a few weeks. They were 10-2 in their first twelve postseason games. I don't think you can blame running into that buzzsaw on Farrell.

To be clear, I'm not saying he should or should not be fired - frankly, I don't give a shit - I just don't think the 2016 ALDS is a reason to do so.

Is that what you meant when you PMed me asking whether I was "DTF?" I thought it meant something different. Given this new definition change my answer from Yes to no.

Not much of a baseball fan anymore. Baseball has failed to make enough changes to it's sport over the last 40 years. But a 1 game playoff following a 162 game season stinks. JMO.

No that was a sexual question, so your answer probably remains Yes

Tito's use of Miller was huge. He inserted him in the perfect place every time.
