I think starting pitchers, on average, threw less innings this year than in any previous year. There were also more teams carrying a 7-man bullpen than ever before. And throw in the challenges that have only been around for 2-3 years. The networks are using any excuse they can find to go to commercial and right now there are more excuses than ever.

Yeah playoffs should begin on Wed. If you're going to give these teams 3 or 4 days off following the end of season then just make the WC game a best of 3 with a format of 1-2. Start it on Monday. Playoffs still would start on the same day

Nope. They're all staggered.

Thursday, 4:00 and 7:30

Friday, 2:00, 5:00, 7:30 and 10:30

Saturday, 5:30 and 9:00

I think the WC games should be on Tuesday with the real playoffs starting Thursday. That gives a couple days for potential tiebreakers, weather, etc.

Word. People are fucking crazy. 500+ wounded. I don't know how a person could be capable of that.

Whenever this type of shit comes up, I think of Ed Tom Bell's pseudo-soliloquy about modern crime. He wraps it up:
