Well we don't do much great here in Iowa but we can really coach up the lines. That's why I threw Ferentzs name out there. Not sure he'd leave as I think he's being groomed but any guy who has played part in a program like Iowa being top 10 5 times in 14 years could probably really help a blue blood like Nebraska

I'd say Paul Johnson.

I just don't see them ever getting enough skill to go modern. You'd have to import
all the skill folks. That's a lot of players.

They'd find 10 fullbacks in that state and their OL would be ok. Decent TE. Just need
around 4 good A-backs to rotate and a slick, smart kid at QB with some quickness, that can
complete a 15-yard pass when called on.

They could win a lot of games in the Big10 doing that with a decent OL.

It won't work anywhere like it did, but that doesn't mean it won't work. And let's be real, when you say an offense won't work in the Big 10, you mean it won't work against Ohio State, Michigan, Wisconsin, maybe Penn State, and Iowa sometimes. No offense is just gonna automatically work against those teams, that doesn't mean they still can't be exploited and beat (clearly).

But whatevs, I'm not really trying to make a strong case for him, I wouldn't want him around my program, so I get it. But it'd be an interesting hire, and not the Mike Riley kind of interesting.
