I might be able to settle for (5-4) if the last 4 go (3-1) or better and the one loss is competitive.

I either want to see him make HUGE changes go 9-0 the rest of the way (perhaps he needs to can DL right now and Cav too) i dont care how he gets it, either we go 9-0 or he makes changes NOW not tomorrow but like yesterday... otherwise he is just goin through the motions and nobody cares to just see students dress for a game and look like shit... i would rather forfeit a game than look like shit.

I gave them Rutgers, Illinois, Northwestern, and Minnesota as wins. Every game but Rutgers could go either way. And I gave them an L vs Purdue, that could go either way as well.

Our QB needs an NFL o-line to make "smart decisions" and we are borderline State Championship Highschool O Line right now

Like HiB10 pointed out. Wisconsin fired their OL coach after 3 or 4 games a few years ago and got immediate improvement.
If Riley is so well liked among his coaching bretheren, he should be able to find someone quality to step in for at least the interim.

Fair enough. He's such a "nice guy" and everyone in the coaching fraternity just loves him. He should be able to find a decent OL coach sitting idle right now to finish the season.

I'm just curious where everyone sits on the issue. Pretty interesting really.

9-0 is the only situation where if MR makes zero coaching changes that i am "happy" it will show that he some how lit a fire under his staff.... He is the HMFIC He is not responsible for every bit of technique being taught but he is responsible for the guys teaching technique!! IF he cannot recognize fault before end of a horrible season then he needs to go.......... yea i suppose htis is my 3rd time with different (slightly) wording of saying it i am surprised how many are givin him more slack to be honest

I agree he doesn't handle pressure worth a damn but I'd like to give him a shot with a line before canning him. Without the line I think POB should get a shot though I doubt we would get much different results. The line though is putrid. It has to be fixed.

Except in year 2 he took them to a conference championship, faltered in year 3 then picked up his game after that

bo pleeny took Nebraska to the CCG in his 2nd year as well, so there's that.
