Tom Brady played baseball so did a lot of Patriot players.
:tj:

I had to check if this was the baseball or football forum? Someone here just recently was all up in arms about threads being jacked.
What a difference a day makes.

Calm down, we used a thread no one was responding to

Yeah, hard to be excited about that free agent crop. Who's in the next tier? Lance Lynn? Alex Cobb? I'm not sure you replace Tanaka with those guys and improve???? Maybe they will deal some prospects for another starter. I could see that, too.
I think those would be better moves because I legitimately think that the Yankees could have starters in their system that outperform the other 3 in coming years. And since you would be paying them so much money, you would essentially be obligated to keep them in the rotation. If they didn't have a deep far system I would say go for it.

i keep saying this. he will play 14+ games (sit 1-2 for rest, playofs, etc).

over 80 catches
over 1100 yards
double digit TD's

I hope so, have him on one of my fantasy teams. That's about what he typically gets when he gets close to a full season (15 or more games). Unfortunately, that's only been 4 out 7 seasons (if you count his full rookie season when his stats were down other than TDs).

yes, Im not thrilled with the California idea at all, Id rather tap into small towns in middle america where you cant find good pizza (I know someone that opened in Charleston, SC, and is killing it)

But my brother is in Santa Barbara, and these pizza guys, the most important part of the operation, are jacked up with the idea of Cali.........I only have the money for one decent investment right now, so if it doesnt fit, Ill be out pretty easily on the Cali thing, and dive into another location down the line

Not sure I would call the largest city in South Carolina a small town in middle America, lol.

No, but in terms of real pizza, it was an untapped area

I hear ya, but Im thinking more along the lines of towns/cities that really lack some good pizza

I'm guessing you're referring to NY style as "real"?

Yup, they have filtration systems as well now, but problem with that is if it breaks or goes down, youre shut down until its fixed

Most people ship the dough in, rather than the water..........I only know this cause its a hot topic for us now as to which way we wanna go

The idea is simple: minerals dissolved in water (mostly magnesium and calcium) can help proteins in the flour bond together more tightly, forming a stronger gluten structure, the network of interconnected proteins that give dough its strength and elasticity. So the higher the mineral content of water (measured in parts per million, or ppm), the stronger and chewier the dough. In theory, it makes sense, and is easily provable in a laboratory.
