lol

id say career defining is averaging a double double in the NBA Finals while pulling off the greatest come back in the history of the NBA

but i guess we have different definitions of what "career defining" is. :pound:

Yeah....Lebron and Kyrie pulled off that come back. When people talk about that series, TT is rarely brought up if at all. Besides, that was two years ago - when Lebron went back to the Cavs, you mentioned our 2013 title as ancient and archaic. Can't have it both ways, pumpkin.

What we do know, the last time we saw TT on the court - Steph was outrebounding him the whole series. Rebounds, the one stat that shows up based on effort. Maybe you should keep Whiteside's name out of your mouth and worry about your own player.

At least I can say our center doesn't get outrebounded by point guards. Can't relate with you.

Okay wiggy time to call out your overly homeristic nonsense. Bird won 3 League MVP's ('84, '85, '86). Magic won 3 league MVP's ('87, '89, '90). Your math sucks.

BOOM.

You what is important to him? Swinging from LeBron's junk like Tarzan & telling us all repeatedly the 1,001 reasons the Cavs will win it all this year.

And when they don't win it, he'll have another excuse for not being on this forum.

no way the Heat finish in the top 4 in the East...

so they wont have home court--- and they will have to play one of Cleveland, Boston, Toronto, or Washington.....

they would be substantial underdogs against any of those teams.

Like I said- a snowballs chance in hell of getting out of the first round- assuming thy make the playoffs.

So its a bet?
If the Heat win a playoff series and the Cavs dont win it all, you're off SportsHoopla for 60 days.
If Cavs win it all and Heat fail to win a round, im gone.
Deal?
Should be no brainer for you.
You'll be MIA anyway once you talk shit until then before getting blown out.

Didn't he mention the other day he'd like to take a trip to the lost city of Atlantis? The day the Cavs season ends would be perfect timing for him to go on vacation.

go fuck yourslef

I am not making any convoluted bets with you.

you have no balls

you would never take a simple bet--- the Heat win a playoff series--- it always has to be tied to some bullshit with the Cavs

enjoy your mediocre, capped out team, with no draft assets, no stars, aging/declining team President who doesnt have the ability to bring in any kind of big time player anymore.

If you want to bet me if the Heat win a playoff series--hey im all game

if you want to tie it to the Cavs because you enjoy gargling the Warriors balls- go find someone else. LOL

my original points are all 100% true

(i) a mediocre team in the East. Worst place is to be in the middle- and its exactly where they are--- best case 6th seed, worst case about 10th i would say. A snowballs chance in hell of making it out of the first round.

(ii) no cap room anytime soon- and not one guy on a "steal" contract like a Jae Crowder with the Cavs. A lot of guys on market/above market long-term deals in a league with a cap that is flattening out. Not good. lol.

(iii) easily the worst collection of draft assets in the league. Owe out AT LEAST there next 4 2nd rounders. And still owe 2 first rounders that are VERY lightly protected to the Phoenix Suns for Dragic. (example of how Riley wanted to push the buck to his successor)

(iv) No star power what so ever.

(v) a center who is more interested in his stats than actually winning who is prone to mental lapses.

(vi) a sg who is only happy when he is "the man"- but hes not good enough to be "the man" on any kind of real team.

(vii) extremely weak, in relation to the rest of the East, at the small forward and power forward units. Small forward in particular is really weak.

(viii) a team President working on borrowed time who's lost his touch. No longer able to woo major free agents. Have to settle for 3rd or 4th tier free agents like Kelly Olnyk.

keep gargling those Warrior balls though. :pound::nono:

Has Riley recruited his last major free agent to Miami?

I say he has.

no one else is going there

They tried really hard on Hayward--- but there was only 1 problem

Hayward wanted to win. lol

Big difference.
I never claimed the Heat were going to do anything.
You talk like the Cavs are the second coming of Christ.

You are comparing your only chance to win EVER, with a team that was forced to take several steps backwards once James left and Bosh became ill.
Awful brave of you.

ONLY thing you should be comparing is Cavs/Warriors.
You won't though, because then it becomes a losing argument like all of your others here.

Me: The Heat suck

@TurnUpTheHeat: Well---- the Warriors are better than the Cavs.....I enjoy gargling the Warriors balls.

Me: Uhh okay....yah the Heat still suck

@TurnUpTheHeat : well the Warriors are better than the Cavs

Me: Well- the Cavs are the only team that have a chance ot beat them, the Cavs have made the last 3 Finals, and won one, pulling off the greatest comeback in history--- -and oh yah--- the Heat still suck and have basically no chance at winning a playoff series

@TurnUpTheHeat : well- the Warriors are better than the Cavs

lol.....it is funny seeing a Heat fan gargle the Warriors balls to this degree.

e.
well that was very smart of you. Because we both know they ARENT doing anything

why?

because the Heat are:

(i) a mediocre team in the East. Worst place is to be in the middle- and its exactly where they are--- best case 6th seed, worst case about 10th i would say. A snowballs chance in hell of making it out of the first round.

honestly- besides getting an unheard of haul for having no leverage trading a star--- one of the best benefits of this Irving trade I believe will be the motivation it supplies LeBron.

I believe he will use this "slight" as motivation- and give us a performance that is worthy of his 5th MVP- and hopefully his 4th title.

I think we see the last AMAZING season of the King this year.....dont get me wrong- i think he will still be the best player in the world for another season or two--- but what he has coming will go down as one of, if not his best season of his career.

He will win his 5th MVP this year.

I said it once- before the Cavs won the title--- I said--- we havent seen LEBron's defining moment yet--- that moment that runs at the hammer of any career-montage.

That moment of course is "The Block".

I think that THIS SEASON- LeBron will send a message to the league and himself- that he is still THE KING- and worthy of GOAT consideration at the end of his career.

Getting a guy like Crowder who can take the defensive pressure off LeBron and guard opposing wings will help. Hoopefully getting Wade will help. Getting rid of Kyrie's 25 points so LeBron's numbers can jump into the MVP strategosphere would help.

I think we are on the cusp of seeing the last truly magnifient season of The Kings career. Like i said- dont get me wrong--- he will still be the best player alive for another year or two afterwards.

but this- basically his age 33 season- will be one he is remembered for- and garner him his 5th MVP award to put himself in position to be AT LEAST the 2nd greatest NBA player of all time.

MVP #5 is coming up.

Would you sniff LeBron's sweaty jock strap if giving the opportunity? I think you would.
i bet Riley would- also would get on his knees and beg the King to comeback if he thought it could work.....

but when you are throwing 78 mile-per-hour meatballs, and the best free agent you can bring in is Kelly Onlyk- you kind of take yourself out of the consideration of the truly elite in the NBA.
