I'll agree with the bolded. As for the justification of striking a women I'll disagree.

I'm not justifying anything. Just stating everything I've ever heard or seen. I grew up in an area where many of the families were fishermen or lobstermen. I've seen women go after a man with a butcher knife and end up being thrown down a flight of stairs. No one called the cops. Two days later they're sitting on a porch sharing a beer. I'm sure that their kids grew up thinking that behavior was normal.

My father taught me that men never hit women. If you get into a nasty situation........just walk away. Let things cool down. If you walk outside and keep walking and she still keeps coming after you, walk faster. Run if you have to.

I've been married 43 years. I've gotten really pissed off on several occasions. Never laid a finger on my wife.

The league can still toss him for Conduct detrimental to the league. Cops being called, pulling a girls shirt down, speeding. He has been in the news for all the wrong reasons lately...If you learned anything from TB12 case, the league can hand down any punishment they want, the players agreed to this.

Goodell gathers his "Impartial" investigation team together to discuss possible punishment after a years investigation.
1 member (the LEAD Investigator) of that team is not present, because a Unbiased Giants fan had her banned.
That banned team member is going to suggest no punishment to Elliott.

Problem with this idea is I long ago acknowledged DV could have taken place, just I could not convict any man on the evidence as we know it.

Zekes case got a little stronger as he can now use a NFL investigator against the NFL.
