yeah, he's probably going to be trouble for us in the next few years

What do you think of us switching gears and going Ehlinger instead of Robinson last year? Robinson was the hottest prospect in Texas after his sophomore year then just fell off the map. Then he transferred to Desoto and redeemed himself. By then TCU had stuck with him and he was loyal back to them. I think Ehlinger was the more sure thing but I think Robinson might have the higher upside. Especially for Herman's offense. Although Ehlinger can run the ball too.

Cincinnati is the obvious answer.
Fickell mother fuckers.

I really don't like them this year, but they might have the most favorable schedule in that conference. That actually helps a lot with these things.

What am I missing with them? I've seen multiple people bring them up in various threads. It looks like a rebuild year to me, but I'm willing to listen to why I'm wrong.

They miss FSU, UL and Clemson in the other division and they'll be very good on offense again IMO. I think they're an 8/9 win team.

That's kind of negated when you play Penn St and Oklahoma St OOC though.

Even if they lose both, which I don't think they will. They have a very favorable ACC schedule, in which I could see them going 6-2 or 7-1. I'm putting some faith in Narduzzi with this type of pick.

Thing we're all hoping for in Ehlinger is some of that 'magic', he seems to carry himself that way, and those who've watched a lot of him see it (all I've seen is highlights, clips, etc. Have never watched him enough to form that opinion). Robinson just looks impressive...but I've never watched his games either, less than I have of Ehlinger.

So I guess we'll see.

Funny, I got off work and watched the last half of Tex-OSU in 2007 that I had taped. Colt McCoy threw three picks that day, but when it counted he displayed that magic we came to take for granted in the rest of his career. That's the magic I'm hoping for in Ehlinger.

But I'm not counting Buechelle out of that conversation either. I think he may have a little of that magic dust himself.

Wyoming goes undefeated and their quarterback goes to New York.

I am going to go with 2 out of the SEC. I think the West looks a bit down, so I will go Miss State to surprise and sneak in the back half of the top 25. Basing that almost entirely off of their QB. I think he can lead them to a couple surprise wins. South Carolina is the other. They found a QB last year for the first time in, well forever.

Hell, I really don't have a clue. I'm just throwing some names against the wall to see if they'll stick.

Ha! We are never short on preseason hype when there is even a glimmer of hope for a good season. 3 straight losing seasons = preseason top 25 :L

I'm trying to calculate this.

Tom Hermann gets a 23 ranking if I remember right
But Charlie gets a 22 ranking with a worse team.

Is that weird to anyone
