Hammer clearly has an agenda against the Celtics. But he was spot on with that one. I'd sign Horford for about 15-17 mil per year, he's good, but he's not all star level IMO. He's a good starter, not elite.

Ok, then. Boston, in theory, could make things work for the upcoming... needing only minor adjustments more than anything major.

Again, for well over $20 million, what does Horford bring to the table? He's not that great of a scorer, with the exception that he can hit from the perimeter, and he's a subpar rebounder and defender. Your argument for Horford is similar to Wiggy's on how it was justified that TT deserved the contract he got.

In a modern offense, Horford is an ideal big in terms of outside shooting, passing and decision making.

His assist totals... in the playoffs, in particular... were exceptional for a big man. And Boston's offense hummed for much of the playoffs, too... in no small part due to Horford and his rare talents at his size.

As I said, this e-mail is almost a week old, Woj is sitting on the story until he gets the OK from LeBron because he likes having inside access to LeBron, having a players trust is a big deal,which a lot of these media guy sdon't have which is why they are fucking wrong 99% of the time.
