Surprised that with everything Lebron learned, that defense wasn't something he wanted his team to focus on. That's what made those Heat teams so special - relentless defense. Also is why we were ran on up and down the court in 2014 by the Spurs. Because of exhaustion from playing that type of defense.

lol yeah those fuckers were BIG on defense. and as much as i doubted Spo at first you got a good one there, too...

@WiggyRuss can never again say that a healthy James/Love/Kyrie have never lost a series together.

As far as the Lue comment, didn't he say the Warriors were easier to defend then the Celtics?

Am I correct in thinking the Cavs will lose both Korver and Williams in FA?

Am I correct that they are over the cap without them?

#can'tcurestupid

Yup. I mentioned Lue saying the Celtics were harder to guard then the Dubs. Mike Brown thought it was cute, so there's that.

I just don't get the drop off in their defense. Roster was almost identical to last year for the most part. How do you go from top 10 in DEF EFF to 22nd? How do you go from 4th in OPP PPG to 20th?

The only thing that remained somewhat similar was OPP FG%. Went from 14th to 16th.

Also, IMO Seattle slightly >> San Antonio, but not by much.

Yeah, for sure. I think that's the biggest take away from this season, looking forward. If a team wants to set their eyes on taking the Warriors crown, they better start with defense.

The Cavs have a bunch of offensive players that can't play D and a few defensive players that can't play offense. And LeBron. They need to find some guys that can do some of both, imo.

Yeah, the Cavs could use more 2-way players. Would you trade Love?

Yeah but every team that wins a ring attracts bandwagons, it's not just the Ws. And it's fine, some 10 year old in NJ or Iowa right now has become a Warriors fan for life due to growing up while they are the dominant team. Some keep switching to the next winner, some stick with their first team.

Yeah I have no problem if it's a kid just forming his bond. But the guys who are rightfully criticized are the 2nd group, the guy with the Heat gear he never wears anymore because he is now a Warriors fan. For now.

To me a true fan is the fan who picks a team when they are 10 and that's their team win or lose for life. Anyone who jumps to a better team deserves criticism. I feel the same way about fans who claims more than one team as their own, which obviously improves their odds considerably of having one of them being good enough to brag about. But I found out here that apparently I am not allowed to voice this opinion.

As far as D:
At least Delly made you work.
He's nothing great, but always pesky.
Shump sucked.
J.R. was MUCH better last year.
James took a step back.
Korver and D. Williams are jokes.
Love had no chance.
Tristan was often exposed.

To sum it up, it played out as expected.

Really? I guess to each its own. Seattle was really nice while I stayed there. San Antonio, there wasn't shit to do and it just looks like a god awful city. I guess I wouldn't have left Seattle if there wasn't such a large influx of people coming in and the housing market going sky high.

To be fair I was only there 36 hours, basically just saw the real touristy stuff, got into it with a whore usher at the baseball game, and got ripped off at the hotel we stayed at.

good list. and i have to add(at the very likely event i'll be labelled a LeClown hater) that at 33 i DON'T see his defense getting better from this point on...

That would do it. I had a friend stay in a hotel in Lynwood. Also the Mariners stadium is located at or near tent city. Plus, some people from Seattle are passive aggressive. At that point, being from Miami, just give me full blown ass hole. At least it makes me know you're not trying to insult my intelligence when you're trying convince me that you're not full of shit.

Problem with trading Love is that his contract is a good one.
Average players are now getting what he is signed for.

One thing that Wiggy was actually right about. Love and Irving are on good contracts. You trade Love, you're likely getting a 1-year rental in George OR you're getting a couple role players because of contracts now.

Really? I went to San Antonio once and thought it was pretty cool. There's that Riverwalk with all the bars and restaurants. Granted, I was only there for a couple days and was working, so I didn't get to do a lot, but it seemed like an alright city to me. The shoe shine dick at the airport fucked up a pair of my shoes, but other than that, I've got no complaints.

Wouldn't want to live there or anything, but it was alright.
