Harris? You mean Watson?

Hurts was a true freshman and he obviously has a lot of room for improvement, but he is far from terrible.

At any rate, he was laying the deep balls in nicely in the spring game.

No, I mean Damien Harris. His wiggle was exactly what you guys needed to use. Not more pass plays by a QB that was shitting his pants for 99% of the game.

I'll give you that Harris was quite good. Really impressive.

and the clemson clearly cheated needing 2 illegal pick plays to pull it off.

But Hurts was abysmal. How many passes were wide open and he missed by 10 yards? He gave up like 3 open TDs on deep balls alone. Much less the first downs he refused to take on the ground. It was just an odd set of decisions.

And most importantly...your best pass of the game was by a WR....and it wasn't even close. Not your best play, just straight up the quality of the throw. Hurts couldn't have made that play.

That throw by Stewart was a fucking dart, huge play in a huge moment by a former high school quarterback. I think what Hurts proved is he is a tremendous athlete with a lot of heart and poise. In terms of his accuracy, timing, etc., he still has a lot of room for growth. He'll improve. He was a freshman playing the hardest position in football.

They probably win easy with him at qb lol

Damn...I'm glad I'm not on this college football board celebrating my former coaches championship in a league I don't give a rats ass about.

On the other hand I do hope my coach gets enough rings for all his fingers before he retires...if not the thumbs too.

Yeah, I'd say the same if my current coach sucked in the mens league.

Franklin at Penn State was impressive last year.

Because for the first time ever, PSU had an offense. As soon as their O-Cord moves on to a head gig, he done. Franklin is a recruiter, not a coach that's going to win a natty.
