has zero to do with the play bud

his stance has always been that the Boyz got a stiff job from the refs - I do not agree with the call as I think that was one of the most spectacular catches that I ever witnessed, however, it unfortunately was the right call on one of the shittiest rules ever

the refs giveth (vs Lions) the refs taketh away is my point

need to drop that baggage and move on

One thing I've never said is the ruling cost Dallas the game.

As Jarntt said, that defense was brutal and had they scored there from the 1, GB would have whistled down the filed to score with ease.

Have to take the ball to the ground, maintaining control. That ball hit the ground and came loose. Easily not a catch.

Yep, he caught that ball. The catch rule is stupid.

Too bad too. If Dallas gets the ball at the one there, we are likely seeing Rodgers driving for the win with a minute left a little later, and if this year was any indication, that shit is exciting.
Yup and as per both years quickly bowed out the next week anyway:noidea:

Either answer is a good one.............I`ll go with:

won fair and square, like blocks of cheese!

cause cheese is good.........

And it does not matter anyways cause neither team reached the SB.........They both sat in the seats with Jay Cutler.

The problem with that is every receiver in the league puts his hand on the CB while running routes. It was pass interference and they announced it on the speakers for the fans... then overturned it. I have never seen that happen ever in the NFL. Also Dez ran out on to the field with his helmet off which was yet another 15 yard penalty they let slide. It was a catch to me but they shouldn't have been playing GB in the first place. Even if they called off setting penalties on the WR and the LB they should have got a first down for an offensive player running on to the field with not helmet.

Ball hit the LB in the back.

Uncatchable ball.

That's not the definition of an uncatchable ball. The pass was right on target and Hitchens not only grabbed him but didn't turn around to look for the ball. Uncatchable means the ball was thrown 10 yards off target. That pass was right on the money.

A couple of years have since passed for emotions to cool. So the poll question for you guys to vote on:

2014-2015 NFC Divisional Playoffs, Dallas Cowboys @ Green Bay Packers:

Did Dez Bryant catch the ball? (I will post a few GIFs in the next few posts to refresh everyone's memory.) Why do you think so?
He did not catch the ball and I'm a Cowboys fan so you know I'm being objective.

I believe he had control of the ball for quite a while, but:

1) Stumbling to the ground does not constitute a football move.

2) He did not maintain possession while going to the ground.

Hate the rule, but respect the call.
